  1. i agree with you mate I use cider vinager now and again bit of oil but never any supplements I have done in the past but you'll never beat a good diet ?I used that acv to stop my bitches patching the grass didn't find it made one bit of deference better for poultry/birds imo
  2. Stiff is the bone meal mainly for calcium ? If so could see that bieng handy for youngsters as been told body doesn't get much from bones ? Anyone add things like banana tomatoes powdered seaweed that sort of thing ?
  3. Anyone on here use any supplements for there dog ? I don't meself apart from odd bit of oil on food or clove of garlic but someone I know well uses allsorts and reckons it's the best way if your running them couple times a week. for me if your feeding a good varied diet shouldnt really need them
  4. Very kind offer pal much appreciated.??
  5. I wouldn't mind a wee Plummer for abit of alround stuff ratting bushing bolting the odd bit out of drains and pulled out warrens but it's finding someone who ain't gonna fob yer off with what they can and can't do.
  6. I suppose your right lads just one of them dogs I couldn't ever see myself with if they suit ya and keep yer happy then fair play it's not me who's gotta feed em and clean up after them. I can sort of understand I've got a French bulldog here it's the mrs let I hated the thing but will pick up a shot bird get on stuff with the lurchers and more than that is a cracking pet for me family will chase a ball all day good with kids and all that. Just used to seeing the fat labs as said and allways thought they weren't for me. But hen again i said the same about whippets until I see a couple owned by
  7. There was two cream bitchs the smaller one left last weekend They won't be around long as I said before not a big fan of out n out coursers especially put back to pure but them little bitches id take a chance on I think. All the very best with em
  8. Any pics of that light fawn bitch ?
  9. I could put some pics up but as it's not mine you'll just have to take my word this bitch is far from useless and never heard her yap I've seen it do a fair bit on the flint and chalk only got about a minute in the tank but always a good run to watch I've also seen another whippet hit a large animal I'm not talking roe and hang on yet seen much bigger lurchers not wanna know. there not for me but I like to see abit of heart in any animal. Like you say bird good for abit of fun might get the mrs a strong non ped one day and see how it goes lol
  10. Thats the major trouble with Whippets waiting for something in their scope to come into focus or something in their weight zone. Morton I don't own a whippet or anything similar but I've seen a couple with very big hearts especially non peds a lad I'm out with got a bitch that surprised me when I seen her doing abit more than rabbits.
  11. Seen whippets and small whippet types punch well above there wait on allsorts pre ban and within the law. May not be best choice for owt bigger than rabbits but there a good bit of fun and I love the way they run.
  12. between 5 and 10 grand I'd say so I think if some travels up and down the country seeking the best blood to put back to his line of dogs makes them worth the money he charges It's only worth what someone's willing to pay I dont think that money's unfair for those that are happy to pay it to some £400 is a good Saturday night lol I've spoke to this Jeff a few times what I didn't like was when he told me he had a waiting list for people after his dogs and that he jumps people in front that he thinks deserves them haha I said if he's got a waiting list why advertise them in cmw he soon dodged
  13. How does he know the age of materials? Very unique
  14. I couldn't think of a more boring dog to own then a lab but he is very nice fair play in good condition too. The pointers are handy looking aswell.
  15. I've caught stuff using a small led torch and use these small lamps for a walk up the back fields or shooting birds but no way would I run a dog regular on them. Add to the fact the burn out over time harder to spot stuff I'll stick to halogen and lithium with dimmer n filter. Battery life on them is impressive though.
  16. I was out last night few lads got fish on the bank I never got a sniff and was eaten alive by mozzies
  17. I like it all but Daytime muntjac or numbers of hares on the lamp are the cream for me.
  18. Doesn't the woolly coat come from saluki grey x Beddie grey which is merlin eve and eves sisters breeding ? Either way mr Burrell must be keen as bully is a grand a jump.
  19. Measuring equipment topography I think it's called.
  20. Some of the coursing stuff must go back nearly 60 years now surely ?

Ii think he jacked the dogs in used to get some nice little pics though
  22. I CAN UNDER STAND THAT IN A PEDDIGREE DOG FOR SHOWING WHAT EVER, LYK MARKING ETC BUT IN A RUNNING DOG WHO THE HELL NO,S AT SHORT AGE OF A DAY OR A WEEK OR SO OF A PUP,,,THIS IS NOT A WIND UP ,, IFF THERE IS A CLEAR REASON THEN I WOULD LIKE TO NO,, SO ME AND MANY MORE DONT PASS BAD STOCK ONYer I see what you mean be a hard decision for anyone to make with tiny pups that ain't took shape or got characters yet. Nice looking litter tho AG can see abit of efforts been put into them. All the very best ??
  23. Good question I think Arron often here talk of culling it's interesting to hear what people like to see in there pups and what they don't. And obviously culling Them's a gamble but so is choosing pups to keep ain't it. Edited to add I ain't got the heart to cull pups me self hence why I've never bred a litter of lurchers in me life but I've never sold a lurcher either pup or otherwise.
  24. Fair play mate nice night for the pups there ??
