  1. I think c.n says himself it wasn't his best bitch just maybe the toughest. Matched twice in a week few times. As for the best we all need different things some lads are running fenced in paddocks or flinty downs some are lucky to run a dozen hares a season some are running that a day. Lot of variables the best for one man might be useless for another. she got a outstanding record for a dog that wasnt the best. is there any other dogs you know of that are around or have been around that have got a record like that? she seemed to win plenty when it mattered. I think c.n says himself it wasn't

  5. Get them carrying and fetching feather young make it a game for them and chances are they'll take birds when there older.
  6. Had it a a couple times used to come slightly cooked for some reason. Like anything new unless you introduce carefully can be abit rich for a dog.
  7. Yes that's why I haven't bought one before thought maybe the pumping would be a pain but a few lads have told me there handy to have the job I got in mind for it there won't be much rush for a shot anyway. Don't use Facebook and there doesn't seem to be a lot of info about them on the net
  8. Going to pickup one of these next week is there anything to watch out for as I know there pretty old what's a fair price for one in good condition and is it a lot of hassle getting a silencer fitted ?
  9. Feller I know been on about getting a caimen.
  10. what do you think?Dunno reptiles used to be but I reckon their more popular than small furries now an once you got the viv, probably cheaper to keep than them. But in past we have had skunks,African Pygmy hedgehogs, skinny pigs(bald guinea pigs) tortoises and parrots from an eclectus to a macaw. Was the macaw very noisy to keep ? Mrs on at me for one.It was loud but didn't screech often, the eclectus screeched loudly and often. Consider a hand reared grey ,they don't take up so much room and great talkers. Cheer Had greys and cockatoos they were far too noisy but seriously tame and clever greys
  11. Good stuff. I've one of those lead mounds packs a punch don't it.
  12. Seen it in pups that wasn't kept very clean as youngsters hard habit to break once there used to doing it. Nothing to do with having saluki in it.

  14. I don't get them 9.5 anymore I think it's 14mm steel I get and it's spot on dropping more than I ever have with a catty and double thereaband gold don't think I'd swap that setup now theraband last aslong as it's not getting over stretched I used to have same problem. Looking forward to the leaves dropping for some proper sport. Had some success with these and 9.5 I think they were 25mm
  15. Been after a sharp inova for a little while but someone told me the webley rebel is pretty much the same anyone know if this is true ?
  16. What youse all use for minor cuts and why ? Never liked that purple spray but used most stuff with success alongside saltwater. Is it better to use a powder to dry it out or gel ? Cheers.
  17. Lovely thing that is credit to your lad ??
  18. Looks similar in shape to the brindle dog I have out of same sire.
  19. . It's from this week. It says first complaint was made in 2014. i remember reading the last article. And if you read the articles it was the videos that done the damage a picture can be staged or you gun could be just outside picture a video not so much.
  20. Its just many people detest anything to do with those dirty animals.... Muslims That's fair dos but at least say it's nothing to do with cutting a cow or sheeps throat it's to do with religion and who's doing the cutting.
  21. Funny site this is at times. You lads against halal what you think of bow hunting ? Or getting a dog to catch a rabbit and retrieve live to hand ?
  22. Do you know how that's bred mate ?
  23. ive gotta agree with you there mate that's my point with the breeding in the bull these days no body knows what's actually gone into the breeding and it gets spot out down the line I know there's Bulls about that have got any from a mastiff to a boxer in the cross and that's only done to make the dog look bigger for some reasonThe best Bull crosses I have seen have all been 26" and under. IMO you don't need taller. The type the proper stuff throw that produce a Bitch 23/25" is handy enough for most things and a very decent tool to own.25 is big enough for where I lamp and I've always favoured
