    What about this is it right that for a couple seconds the dog was left unwatched ? A kid couldve come uo the road and been of more interest to the dog.

    Cheers mac think im gonna get one of them t38 ones. I had one of them head torches but broke on me are the t38 quite tough ? Doesnt need to be super powerful as got a lamp and lithium.

    What are you lads using alongside your air guns ? Would rather have a red or green light rather than white but not looking to spend silly money. Been looking at the tx-38 anygood ?

    Could be wrong i been looking at a similar thing for a similar purpose and a few people said thermals probably the better option for spotting for the lamp but obviously abit more expensive

    Good little trait for a dog to have but gotta be abit careful about encouraging in it sounds like your dog knew to only do it when there abit too close. My dog started doing it to horses wich i wasnt too happy about.

    Met a fella not long ago would never have guessed he was veggie until we went out to eat. Been one for 16 year and looked better than every other person at the table health and strength wise. I have little breaks from meat now and again does you the world of good.

    Some of the trout I've had lately had cray claws in the gut good luck to them if it means bigger river fish. If you just want a few for the pot walk up the river at night with a landing net and a lamp you'll find them sat in the edge easily caught ??

    No one said anything about testing mate but a few bits here and there ain't gonna do no harm is it might be different where you are but here if you walk your dogs enough there gonna bump into things so no good holding a pup back too much as sooner or later a rabbits gonna get up. That's a lot different to testing aint it.

    Not even read any comments to this post but I really don't understand lads working their dogs before muscle and bone are not fully developed and apart from not been phisyically ready they are not mentally ready at this age, agree or disagree but it's a fact ? Nothing wrong with if there pushing stuff out or hunting for themselves in letting them have a couple of chases. Couldn't be waiting 18 month to 2 years before showing a dog abit of game.

    I agree been in a similar situation rather sort out what's what money wise than a favour can still be called for if it's really needed rather then bieng anyone's joey.

    . One of the early German Shepard alsation dogs was a full dark brindle much like a Dutch shepherd the earLu emergence of the breed would in all probability have some mastiff or. Bull type of old.atb bunnys. I thought that's where the brindle come from in herders was through the bull blood generations back ?
