  1. I don't think there's anything wrong with working a dog off a slip or giving it runs that you don't think it's got much chance of catching when I'm out on me own dogs not on a lead he works in front and gets slipped on everything I see I think it's when doing this you test your dog abit and they have the opportunity to surprise you with what they can do.
  2. I don't think anyone can knock his dogs to be honest how many are catching them numbers of rabbits down south regularly ? Not many I'd say and I mean men that do it for sport not paid pest comtrollers.
  3. I've heard this before about keeping them fit stops em coming in must admit I own 2 dogs I like there atitude I find bitches moody and hard to work out at times I know some say dogs are headstrong but I like a dog that can do his own thing. Ended up with a bitch pup this time I'm looking forward to see how I get on with her. Seems abit easier to work with so far but early days still. I suppose a good animals a good animal when all said and done dog or bitch.
  4. Good post bill makes a lot of sense cheers

  8. Got high hopes for this little bitch.
  9. Is there any particular reason why you have your preferences lads ?
  10. Some bitches after there seasons the muscles go all soft and flabby. I've heard a few mention it mate.
  11. What do you prefer to keep dogs or bitches ? I've heard a few say bitchs are more loyal carry better but obviously come in season I've allways tried to keep dogs myself.
  12. Lovely pup well cared for by looks of things.would never have had it down as 1/4 if you hadn't of said. Best of luck with it.
  13. I must admit I was well impressed with the battery life on that 150 just the led that put me off I've seen a few burn out now and it doesn't seem to work well at distance.
  14. Double it your nock abit over bit heavy for 9mm steel tho
  15. Ok for a meet and a chat with lads you ain't seen in a while but just lately they've all gone abit mad I don't take my lurchers but the bag chasing crew make you laugh how serious they get just for a pic in the cmw.
  16. proper deer can kill dogs foxes don't.
  17. Who slatin his dogs, i called yer bluff, ye said they off irish stuff an now ye waffling on about a dog ye never saw, or my dog that ye know nowt about, will be good dogs bred down of billy, there has to be, they the hancocks of the bullx world haha now run along an make more shit up haha Lol Hancock of the bull x world fair play katchum. Not got nowt against anyone's so called line by the way. But shaddy surely you must relise matey you could put the 2 hardest meanest nastiest b*****ds you've ever come across together and you could still end up with dogs out of them that won't even look
  18. I like them bull x coursing dogs of the right type but have found you want more bull than coursing side of things if your giving them abit of stick and want them to be up and at em. I find some with too much coursing blood start of well keen as owt but can go the other way when the workload gets serious. As for deer a deer dog is a different thing in different people's minds some lads won't entertain the small fellas and some won't bother the big uns at all but I must admit for me knocking a couple smaller deer over before the ban 90% of lurchers should be capable it's not rocket science
  19. If you do ever travel to try it let us know how you get on I think with practice they are handy tools seen vids of fellers shooting pheasant and geese on the wing but the dove hunting with a bow is something else never seen owt like that in me life.
  20. I must admit it's something I'd love to have a go at shame it's not aloud in the uk as it's something I'd be all over that and bow fishing. I've watched loads of YouTube vids on it there's a feller shoots Asian carp as they jump out the water and calls jackrabbits shoots em with a bow.
  21. Cracking picture top dog not often you see those fellows in with sheep by choice ??
  22. I like that little black bitch bill cracker that is looks like it's gonna have a gallop in it ??
  23. Aye, but my money would be on the pit bull if it was facing a shamo stag ! Lolshamo would be heavier so it wouldn't be a fair fight Jiggy if you know of birds heavier than your average game dog you must have some Giants mate I'd be interested in buying stags or some eggs.

    Lidle Find

is it at all possible chaps that sometimes these big cats are kept for shooting/hunting purposes at all ? Like the way pheasants are kept ? I've seen a picture of something up a tree that was supposedly taken in the uk it wasn't black and it wasn't what you'd call big tho I don't know for sure meself common sense tells me that someone would've got decent footage of one by now tomo makes a good point rare animals are found for filming in vast places all the time.
  25. them malis and herders might look good on a Saturday morning when training at a club or whatever remember you gotta live with the fuckers 6 other days of the week.
