  1. Past hour
  2. No mate, I took a beddy type and a first x deer/grey last time. Im hoping to be doing a lot of hunting this time that my current bitch isn’t really suitable for. Plus it’s far easier, quicker and cheaper for me to fly than to drive and get the ferry with a dog in tow. Cheers.
  3. I don’t work for spuds anymore but Mrs Stav thinks I work for peanuts ( because my hourly rate is about half hers )
  4. Sound fantastic Charts have you had the dog you’ve got now over there?
  5. Can't believe 'chuckles' hasn't commented on this yet!! Something along the lines of 'what's a young, good looking girl like that, trying to impress people by holding two steins at the same time for?!'
  6. What's that carrying Wolfy...
  7. Sheesh, you're a blast from the past!! Lol
  8. Yeah that’s it bud it’s a single man’s game most of the people I’d know still at it haven’t families. My father lived away from us 11 months of the year when I was young but lots of men did it wasn’t that strange back then. I couldn’t do it personally but then I’ve probably had it a lot easier than he did
  9. Next time she's stiff at night, only when she's calm try pushing each back leg back (like the bone man does) if she shows any discomfort in either leg it may be her hips. Hip dysplasia doesn't show itself until approx 12wks of age. Pit bulls are prone to it. I've had dogs with it. Young dogs seem to be absolutely fine most of the time, you will only notice it when they are tired/walking slowly. When their brain is engaged and their up on their toes you cannot see it. Best of luck with her.
  10. My best pals first car was a q plate Orion ghia
  11. I've turned down loads of shuttering and steel fixing work, the last few months...I did the whole, chasing the coin bit, week here, get offered a few quid more an HR, would then be the other end of the country, living out of a suitcase but by the time you payed for digs, food, fresh pants etc... your not up a lot ... This time last year ,I was travelling an HR and a half ,do a 8 HR shift, get payed for 10 hrs,6 days a week,a van and fuel card, and coming home every evening ,and was getting £32 hr...easy money, but it's a young man's game,Hard work when you got a Mrs and 3 kids lol..
  12. Central and Eastern Europe is positioning itself to pick up all the skills and money that no longer want to have the piss taken out of them in the UK tax rates of 10%, no capital gains, zero inheritance, best internet in the whole of Europe, clean, cheap housing, 3rd world types are like rocking horse shit because our eastern cousins don’t like them, cheap healthcare, access by car to the whole of Europe……if the EU carry on with this digital currency business I’ll be giving it serious thought. Oh, and no tax on foreign income is some states…..

  20. If your a young man and work in construction I think it can pay well to move around after the work if your that way inclined and you like that lifestyle. London was always good if you can find reasonable digs and there’s still a good few about. Australia was very good but I think the cost of living has taken the good out of it. I know of lads shuttering in Dublin and they are on a better day rate than good guys that have been at it in London the last 20 years you’d of never thought that would be the case
