had a four Trak go anywhere but the manual locking hubs i put on were a bit of a pain rotted a way in the end but the engine was excellent

Even had the break light switches back then as well. Some of my happiest memories are absolutely freezing my tits off stood on the back of the van , holding onto a single roof bar standing lamping both sides of the road with one door open. Then you get the shout " CAR CAR " climb back in while on the move, let pass then back out again and game on lol . We just really had the minshaws back then

Yeah it was like a progression wasn’t it , I genuinely asked a lad why he had swapped from the escort to the maestro and he looked and my me and said “ I can get more in it “ lol itv was serious business wasn’t it ? Escort 55 or 75 , alloy wheels , luggage bar in the roof at the back , bulbs on the front and at least two massive bull heads stuck out from the back

When I used knock about and lamp with the Cumbrian massive. We moved on from escort vans to Austin Maestro vans to roadside lamp from. Anyway we was going up one weekend for a shine as we did most of the season and my mate up there says his engine blew up. So then in the week leading he phones and says I've got it sorted. When we went up he add nicked a bright yellow forestry commission van and hand painted it a different colour and put his plate on it and that was his idea of ringing a motor lol. Them West coast lot were summat else pmsl

Had this old series 2 for years. Was handy for getting up onto the tops but mainly for shooting or daytime work. Paid £450 for it many years ago. Had a Ford Focus estate for years and it was a decent car for getting about the country with the dogs. Finally give in at 240 odd thousand miles.

FFS mate . You need to borrow our Brissel lol.

FFS just been listening to GMB about the migrant in Epping. Who's in court today for the 14 year old girl. He's in magistrate court. A 53 old white man's in crown court. Lol. For standing up for our b*****d right for our children to be safe. You couldn't f***ing write it. Crown court. This c**ts in magistrate court.

Could never afford one in my late teens or early 20,s. Another motor I all ways fancied at that age for a dog bus was the Lada Niva.

Nice looking motors and quite a big motor , they did rot badly, the other one that is a reliable ole tank is the 3.1 diesel Isuzu trooper
-
My very first lamping motor was a Ford Capri 2.0 S, recaro fishnet buckets and a vinyl roof. Boot was bloody awful for putting dogs inn lol
