Well done Lionesses, great win on home soil.beating the  Germans lol. Reading some of the threads on this post, is  amazing really, just enjoy the win in a English  shirt, OK the football on different level to the men, and it always will be. Men are, faster, stronger, more agile in any contact sport  like say just enjoy the win. It my birthday today 1 8 52,=70 today yeh old fecker, but in good mood, the win deff put me there, just need my team Wolves to get some wins, and good start this season,  and I be a old happy bloke?

I hope it does get more girls out playing sports, the shit young girls seem to put up with these days with social media, having to look a certain way, stupid pouting pictures, the need to be liked by strangers, the negativity of it all is madness... f**k as a parent to a teenage girl and a girl in her 20s, guidance is tricky alot of the time .. us blokes aren't built to understand woman at the best of times, but chuck in all the new pressures of the social media world and parenting girls can be tricky.... so I recognise the agenda, I see what is happening... but I can't help feeling this time it is only positive...  the group of girls that won last night are far better role models than some prick on Love Island or a kardishian etc....

Its not for us older football lads really, we can't help but compare it to the mens game and it lacks no doubt...but if it motivates young girls to get on a football pitch abs out of their bedroom glued to their phone...then great I say

I'm not a great one for watching football but watched the match last night and thought it was a good match hard fought and hard won. Good on them and hopefully it will inspire more girls to remain in sport once they hit teenage years to give a little more breadth to their lives.

I recon our men's team could learn a lesson on team work and attitude from them, perhaps they can get Wiegman to manage the men's team and give them a shake up.?

I think people seem to be forgetting that the England women's team played against women. Turn the situation around and imagine what Gareth Southgate, Pep or Klopp would say to them. "Stop chasing the fecking ball and give the player in possession some fecking options to pass to!"
