  1. I may feel a little more sympathetic if it weren't for the very generous wages and pay increase received by Christine Blower. Am sure out of her £140,000 per annum she isn't feeling a chill from her pension!

  6. She looks a beaut! Hope she proves to be a cracking dog. Good on you for taking her on and so chuffed to hear she is staying put
  7. I dont think its just shit to be fair. Maybe it was just a question but theres to many folk just dying for there bitch to reach an age so they can breed and get pups, never mind if the dog is useless and the pounds are full of pups anyway.... Maybe a short sharp tongue lashing on THL might make folk think twice that pumping out pups is no the best way too go..... She only asked when would be the best time to breed her bitch and instead off some advice she has to take that shit. She has a young dog there and by the sounds off it it will get worked and well looked after and further down t
  8. If she's over 40, you best take an umbrella if you're going looking for it! Squirters, you gotta love em! Have seen some of the women you meet on the doors. Think maybe a bag over your head would be better.

  12. That mentality is why they end up in the pound. Lurchers are now the 3rd most populous dog in the pounds. An estimated 150 dogs a week are PTS in pounds across the UK. Or look at it this way - how much does a tax payer pay to keep pounds open? To feed and kennel those dogs. To pay vets to euthanise, plus disposal of the body....the costs mount up cos peeps like you think it's ok to just keep breeding cos it aint your problem! Where's that w@nker emoticon?
  13. I don't ask much from my dogs so training is done by repetition. Rinse and repeat. Don't set them up to fail. Starting early doesn't mean not letting a pup be a pup. If the training is kept light and fun, it's more habit building than training.
  14. Can't imagine where she gets it from!! My Stoopid.
  15. i know what your saying mate. last night he was running on the playing fields mate, nice flat grass. ground seemed ok. weve had quite abit of rain but the ground wasent really soggy. i think its cause its been so dry for so long all the rain just got soaked up. sadly i carnt change my permission were i run him when i get the chance but even that is open grass fields. he old works the rough when im ferreting and then he dosent really get a chase. i wouldent even know a vet who would pts just cause he hurts gets injured. tell the vet he goes after kids or he bit the missus
  16. My Borzoi. Not a great pic but first bunny. Give you an idea of sizing. Male in this pic is 32" with the bitch next to him 28". Big male couldn't do anything, much to cumbersome, couldn't turn and struggled taking things off the ground but covered ground well on a straight. My bitch is considered small and lacking in coat for a show ring, you can see the diff between the 2, but holds her own with the bunnies. Doesn't have the temperament to do anything that may bite back, though Borzoi can be known for being snappy and aloof. Good stamina and pretty quick over ground. Yo
