As with the Hunting Act, the actions of a stoopid minority labelled the majority. It all comes to whether you are willing to accept that or fight for change. Recommend this place. Little Dumpledale They have several properties in a couple of locations. Very dog friendly, though there is some cattle and horses close by. Pool and jacuzzi onsite at Dumpledale. Some great walks and pubs, very dog friendly beaches and tourist attractions. Owner keeps whippies and a fab deerhound too. Many bull lurchers have been seized under this stupid law. Another example of how idiotic it is to judge a breed by its appearance and not its action. And we fight for them just as strongly.

So ..... your point is? Every one of them counts. Section 1 is a farce - as is most of the act. I knew plenty of other types of dogs - collies, labs, boxers, terriers - that are far more dangerous than a lot of the 'types' who fall victim to this act, mostly because of the aforementioned section. Judging a book by it's cover is ridiculous. The more people who give their support, the better. Plenty of bull crosses on here that look dubious and could very easily be taken. There will be another one already taking his place and that's not on. your a bit slow off the boat to start going on a crusade now , the dangerous dog act wont ever get over turned. someone once told me the dangerous dog act come close to be getting thrown out of court as a very clever chap in the pitbull field got involved but during the hearing he was killed in a hit & run. Sorry mods if this is disagreed with, but am hoping there are many that agree with the plight to stop the Breed Specific legislation, Section 1 of the Dangerous Dogs Act. Your help is needed. I like having a peruse of the classifieds. I think it quite easy to tell who you can go with and who not to do business with. Some scream sound bloke and others easily, dodgy dealer. Looking back through old posts helps. If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. -

Carpal varus is the technical descriptive term given to describe bow leggedness. It isn't an ailment that is the cause of bow leggedness. Carpal valgus being the opposite descriptive for knock kneed. Your dogs are suffering carpal varus - no doubt, the pics show clearly bowed legs - but I would be concerned what has caused that bow leggedness.

Rickets is caused by bad diet and lack of vitamin D - generally lack of sunlight. The term carpal - wrist - and varus - bow-legged used to describe the look of the condition.
