  1. Your opening question is proof you aren't intelligent enough to know when someone is talking to you, so yes, people like yourself do show us up as idiots As for the forum, I don't think the public know it exists. Its easy to think the world revolves around something you do but alas it doesn't. As for the antis, who seriously gives a f**k? I'm more concerned about them coming on here and reading about hunting folk being worried about them than I am about any petty arguments they read. Don't give them any credit, they aren't worthy of it. what was that saying mate??? on th

  3. As with the Hunting Act, the actions of a stoopid minority labelled the majority. It all comes to whether you are willing to accept that or fight for change. The proposed control bill is in it's final stages, having some final tweaks. Do you think BSL will be removed from it? I don't. We have had BSL for 21 years, pit bull types being on that list. Lennox was condemned by 2 measurements - his muzzle and his back. His litter mate, Diesel, was not considered type. Who can predict that an American bull x Labrador is going to make a 'type'? And for the past 5 years his licens

Recommend this place. Little Dumpledale They have several properties in a couple of locations. Very dog friendly, though there is some cattle and horses close by. Pool and jacuzzi onsite at Dumpledale. Some great walks and pubs, very dog friendly beaches and tourist attractions. Owner keeps whippies and a fab deerhound too. They also have some other properties, you can find the link to from that page.
  5. Wonders if it is illegal to hunt mother in laws.

  6. It only takes a moment to show some humanity.
  7. IF it is passed as is currently written - for the UK anyway. But there are still some appealing to keep the BSL section 1
  8. I don't run my bitch when in season simply because she is too busy waving her hoohar in all the dogs faces.
  9. Many bull lurchers have been seized under this stupid law. Another example of how idiotic it is to judge a breed by its appearance and not its action. And we fight for them just as strongly.
  10. It will be a great day
  11. So ..... your point is? Every one of them counts. Section 1 is a farce - as is most of the act. I knew plenty of other types of dogs - collies, labs, boxers, terriers - that are far more dangerous than a lot of the 'types' who fall victim to this act, mostly because of the aforementioned section. Judging a book by it's cover is ridiculous. The more people who give their support, the better. Plenty of bull crosses on here that look dubious and could very easily be taken. If it were one of yours, would you shrug it off because hundreds are taken every year? Once again, a lovely breed g
  12. You're right chimp, another reason to try to get more supporters. There will be another one already taking his place and that's not on. your a bit slow off the boat to start going on a crusade now , the dangerous dog act wont ever get over turned. someone once told me the dangerous dog act come close to be getting thrown out of court as a very clever chap in the pitbull field got involved but during the hearing he was killed in a hit & run. It's not a new crusade, many have been fighting for a long time to get things changed, and will continue to do so. We are not try

  14. Sorry mods if this is disagreed with, but am hoping there are many that agree with the plight to stop the Breed Specific legislation, Section 1 of the Dangerous Dogs Act. Your help is needed. From the Save Lennox web page. I highlight the section - Lennox has never attacked anyone or anything! As the Pit Bull Terrier is not a recognised breed, Lennox has been seized, taken from him family for simply looking a certain way. He has been in the custody of Belfast council now for 314 days, away from everything and everyone he knows. Strangely, his brother, from the same li

Congratulations All the best to you all.
  19. I like having a peruse of the classifieds. I think it quite easy to tell who you can go with and who not to do business with. Some scream sound bloke and others easily, dodgy dealer. Looking back through old posts helps. If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
  20. Carpal varus is the technical descriptive term given to describe bow leggedness. It isn't an ailment that is the cause of bow leggedness. Carpal valgus being the opposite descriptive for knock kneed. Your dogs are suffering carpal varus - no doubt, the pics show clearly bowed legs - but I would be concerned what has caused that bow leggedness.
  21. Rickets is caused by bad diet and lack of vitamin D - generally lack of sunlight. The term carpal - wrist - and varus - bow-legged used to describe the look of the condition.
