Have seen dogs not show their potential to about 2/3 years of age. Many would have got rid by then. I don't care what the problem or reasoning is, once they are in my home they are part of my home. Workers or not.

WEll said mate. Sorry teachers are employed to teach moral values and correct behaviour.Other wise it wil conflict will good parenting.Its just that some teach as they think fit.Big ego small brain. If there was good parenting at home the extreme bad and disrespectful behaviour wouldn't be an issue in the class. It's just pass the buck time with the lazy parents. Parents need to realise, there children are there responsibility. I think you spot on there. I don't stop being a parent just because the children are at school.

I can feel for you there. A new paper very nicely called 'every child matters' puts many teachers in a position of sacrificing a whole class over one singular child. But then shouldn't every child matter? Over populated and under staffed schools make it even harder. Then I think the system is also at fault. Children sit regular tests to see where they are, but those falling below are moved on regardless, with their age group instead of their capabilities. You are entitled to your opinion,personally I would say the standard of dogs is still pretty high. I don't think the original thread mentioned Jackers, he asked if it was good dog do you keep it ,? If it was an average dog do you get rid of it? How does keeping a dog after its working life is finished ,mean that you have no balls? A dog that has worked its best for you ,until old age set in ,and it couldnt do it any more is entitled to a warm bed ,and some quality of life in its old age ,thats how I see it. If that makes you laugh ,perhaps you have a unique sense of humour? Iv

My dogs are not disposable. I take them on expecting years with them regardless of how they turn out.

no steady on......clip round the ear not smack round the head dont go putting words in my mouth. a clip round the ear gets a kids attention,well it certainly did me anyway....with some harsh words it did the trick a lot quicker than the harsh words alone..... no teacher would smack a kid of mine around the head a second time....theres a difference. One of the reasons it is right not to be allowed at school. One mans clip is anothers smack. Proof of point.

And thats where we just have to put trust in teachers to do the right thing......as citizens we put a certain element of trust in the police to make tough decisions and use correct judgement......so we should do the same with teachers. A clip round the ear doesnt leave a deep emotional stain,and if it does then that kid needs to get an idea of what lifes about.Like becoming a man and never standing up for himself because he,s been taught its wrong to hit out. Never laid a finger on my kids it wasnt for me....but i dont see nothing wrong with a clip round the ear if it gets the message home....oh what terrible parenting skills ! shepp I think these days kids don't dream they expect and the "parents" don't have the skills because real parents are few and very far between because not a lot of thought went into "why have children?" Decent parents are few and far between because they have been raised by bullying. A clip round the ear to sort the problem gives a vicious circle. I think the whole education system is at fault, teachers have rules and regulations, boundaries and red tape that they have to stick to. A production line system turning out production line worker ants bound by their age and not their capabilities. Just as there are over zealous parents (when was it wrong to want the best for your child?) there are over worked teachers, high expectations for minimal outlay backed by an authority with nothing but self preservation in mind. I don't give knuckles as a food stuff, just something to chomp on every once in a while to aid clean teeth. My vet was very against raw but she did look it up on my recommendation and came round to some extent. Why is it considered bad for people to eat heavily processed food packed with preservatives and additives, but not for our dogs? Yes, there is a chance a small splinter may cause a problem. Yes, there is a chance your dog will die while running in a field.

The only true bit was the footage from the march in London. Though it was interesting to read from the site that the deer killing was real and the cast members ate the deer after it had been hung for 10 days.

I believe that unless claims in an advert are proven to be true you can complain and the advert will be removed. Damn apparently the ASA cleared the advert. Was going to ask how it possibly got cleared as an ad. How on Earth!! PETA always have to go too far. Extremist they certainly are.

Yeah, not bad. Not brilliant but not a complete waste of an hour. Some clever little moments on both sides of pro and anti without stuffing an answer in your face. More to do with human actions and questioning hypocrisy than with hunting. Give it maybe a 6 out of 10.
