Your quite right I am not a doctor, going with the amount of claimants just been put off disability recently declared fit to work then it would appear that not only am I able to judge I might actually be better fecking at it than some of those dishing out sick lines. The Government moving goal posts do not make your judgement any more correct. I'm sure you would be quick to complain too should a wheelchair or pushchair leave a lovely scratch down your car at a supermarket too. Mother and baby spaces are larger for the same reason as disabled, to allow more space at the side of cars, t

So don't go round for tea?

Some disabilities do not disable all of the time. MS for instance. On a good day you can take a nice stroll, on a bad you can't get out of bed. I can't abide those that park in a disabled place unnecessarily. Until you hold a doctors certificate who are you to judge a disability? Pay the £40 and walk away. At least you can walk away.

You know missus, I would be very wary, and stay away and tell the kids to stay well away too. I would be worried of the rest of the family more than the young boy. What has he seen or been through to commit such acts? It's scary!

Am very competitive and so is my son. If he's racing then I compete to shout him on louder than any other parent

Personally speaking, and from experience, I may add, I would prefer NOT to run into this type of dangerous dog if it was rehomed to a well meaning menber of the public, perhaps not with the minerals to keep it SAFELY UNDER CONTROL. It has done it before, it must be in its nature, it obviously has not been rehabilitated adequately to make it safe to be out in public. I'd rather my dogs guts remained within my dogs. And before anyone jumps on the anti-BSL soapbox - I wouldnt care what sort of parentage it came from. yep, cos all dogs get on with all other dogs 100% of the time.

Have told you before Moll. I love Rudi.

It's quite common for white dogs (dogs with little pigmentation) to be deaf, merle and piebald colourings can suffer too.
-
Do you have any concerns of deafness with the all white one?

You are correct - not as many use lurchers for working now. Yet masses are still being bred. They have to go somewhere. Someone has to take responsibility for those dogs - that is where rescue centres come in. It would be fabulous if they weren't necessary, but unfortunately they are. Bath Cats and Dogs home has taken responsibility for Petula, after one, maybe more, careless owners failed. Theft is theft. They own Petula and of course are worried of her where abouts and her overall state, as any person would be if their dog was stolen. They have then done what any other person woul

I believe just the 2 dogs? But lots of threads with them in. -
your i nice a fella arnt ya I hate rescue centres, theres no excuse to allow any animal to have to go to one,the animals they claim to love would be in a far better way if they didn't exist imo. I hate rescue centres too. I hate that they are necessary. theyre self perpetuating, family buy a dog on a whim dont train, socialise it,get bored etc so dump it in a rescue when it gets too much (which is worse on the dog than destroying it imo), then buy a new dog, safe in the knowledge fluffy will live his days out in the rescue centre. if they had to pts that dog themselve

Hubba Hubba!! What a magnificent dog!
-
Wonder what you'd say if, for instance, one of your top coursing dogs was lost - then found, and you were notified, and it was in a shelter. And before you'd managed to get there someone broke in and stole it. You'd be heartbroken. Or maybe you'd not give damn. I'd say that's miles worse. Or anything is better than shelter. Perhaps they should all just be PTS the moment the dog warden picks them up.

If your dog was starved you shouldn't be allowed to have dogs My link Jesus, it amazes me how gullible some people are! They put that it was staved, skeletal etc. etc. so everyone thinks what an amazing job they'd done at bringing it back to full health and how horrifying it is that someone has taken it. Some of them may have been abused, but I can 100% guarantee you that when they take on a dog they assess whether it needs more than £120 worth of treatment and if it does then it'll be curtains for the dog! Don't be under any illusions that dog/cat shelters like this are anything

Glad he's on the mend If the buster collar is causing problems maybe try an inflatable ring? Or if he has a diddy neck a semi inflated kids arm band will do the same. Something like this - Inflatable Collar Will still stop him mucking with his wound but not so cumbersome.

But to bring in strike action while talks are still underway. Low blow!
