  1. Ha. The size of your it would seem... And if you read this at the right time, it'll make sense my buddy. Ha.
  2. Is that you mac?! Jesus. I thought we were cool man. No words... Sat looking at this post for about 10 mins thinking what to say and just. Well. Erm... Hmm.... Nice couch. My mrs just spotted something in the image...
  3. Having looked at a few posts. A thought came to me.. Mainly about pellets and a post made by Gaoler. Is it the pellets shape that a rifle might prefer or indeed it's weight? Bit of both... Shape means accuracy surely, weight me proficiency... Maybe. All my current rifles like fields, 4.52 in fact or 5.52 in .22. It's a simple design of the Diablo pellet, it's soft, the rifling grips the form well, thus banging it out the muzzle in the right way. It's a example of a great design indeed. Same with Exacts. Why do other pellets work better? I know it's a tuffy to explain... Thoughts?
  4. Good point. I guess I'm just pointing out the shape mate. It'll add a lot of difference in terms of performance.
  5. They certainly dont look the same, field and exacts are 'exact'... Although the diablos do look similar.
  6. Good post. Hopefully just got myself one. Picking up at the weekend. Mk1 has no reg, but everything else is the same. But one can be fitted if need be.
  7. Is this the one you have mentioned to me? Out of interest
  8. I know what you mean. Just noticed your title there and I'm feckin stuck in myself, it's getting on ma tits to be honest. Club night tonight too, but it's gale force here. See what it's like Sunday but again, scheduled force winds and rain. Role on the summer months... As I said in a post months ago now.
  9. Hello all. Some on you lads are well into your rapids and the chance has come up to perhaps acquire one myself, having always wanted one of the old workhorses. I was hoping I could pm the rapid lads about what I should be looking for when viewing the rifle. Gurus come forward and Ill message you. Many thanks.
  10. Better than the mrs' pair them Bet you cant hit a barn door with um though
  11. Good topic. Something soft for me mate. Fields. Exacts etc etc. Something that hits bloody hard and is weighty.
  12. I'm not sure there as soft so perhaps won't have the impact of a JSB... They have worked well in my own 100 @.177, but not as well as the AA 4.52's
  13. I'll so be uploading a picky of me in my new clobber when they arrive. Watch this space.
  14. Bagsy that jacket and that 'pod... Let us know how you want to go about the postage mac. Shit. Just read the pick up only but. Don't worry mate. Next time
  15. Mate. Get one. There that good. Simple as that. It's a bit of a cracked record the 'are they any good... Are they worth it' question, and by need means any offence to you.
  16. Why do you want a 95 mate? Just out if interest.
  17. Having said all this about the thumbhole jobby, Im getting one with a thumbhole for the Pro Sport. It also has the thumb up position which will get more use. I did ask if they could do a version without a hole so to speak, but they wont. See how I get on. Should be ok. Im also hoping the new stock will kill the hold sensitivity of the damn thing.
  18. I don't have a thumb hole, unless you ask my mrs but just a word of warning and it may not apply to you. I've personally found the thumb hole stock (some haven't, so no preaching, those of you) a bit problematic when it's comes to accuracy with my 97. The point being that the thumb hole stock encourages the shooter to hold the pistol grip a bit to tightly. Thus, the rifle won't be as accurate as it would be with the standard sporter stock, where the rifle can rest in the hand. That small change in hand position, with the thumb through the stock was just enough to hold tight. When I change
  19. Wanna sell that 7? Good shooting. I had venison just the other day actually... Bit deer mind... Pahahahahahahahaha
  20. Dolphin gun company in Lincolnshire said they'd do my 98, but I never followed it though, worth a call. They only want the actually barrel though, nothing else.
