Welcome back

What's this?! A DS positive thread good to see
-
Shot a 54 at the club comp today, it's ok like, used the 100 so no real testies. Anyway. 2 were plated due to flyers... It happens, so it got me thinking how many of you with pcp's get the odd flyers? The other were me mis judging range, but the pellet that hits the rim for now apparent answer is annoying. As an edit, it's dawned of me that I have used separate batches of pellets. F'sake.

Welcome man. Some questions you have there... best of luck with um. I don't know of the enigma very well... But if I remember looks like an under lever Weston set up.
-
It's a date. As long as you don't try and kiss me again! it's from Cs in Sheffield mate. Nothing to fancy, held a CS800 at the club and it felt like my own. So gonna have one from them, with a few extras.
-
Nice one. I'll look into it.

Thanks for the replies about the TbT kit. It only cost me 20 quid so if it's a not go, no love lost. I'll get some images of it up on the end of this thread when it arrives. Timmy. Bang on way of describing it... A 'buzz' it's doesn't actually sound like that. A chaps TX at the club sounds bloody awful, but god its accurate. Is there such a spring cover? The same that comes with the v-Mach kits?

I hear I have your piston seal vizzzzlaaaaa. The man mac sent it on to me... It's in my PS as I type. It will be passed on too if I ever get rid of it, which is highly unlikely. It looked brand new. Could become a legend that seal.

Ha. Valid point mate. To be honest, my 100 in .177 is so surgical it's quite boring. It's that accurate. It almost takes the fun out of shooting and the wondering if you might hit that 1/4 inch dot at any range. After spending a few on hours with the springers, pick that 100 up, and with the same follow through and trigger discipline, I reckon it could hold its own with any HFT rifle including the Steyrs. Yes. Including those.

A fair point I have thought about to be honest. I've got it about right as an ending post.

Mate. It's sorted. Stripped again, in about 3 mins. Greased up, not to much not to little. Twang is gone. Recoil is the same. None. Nice one mac. Yet again. X

Perhaps I didn't. I'll re look at it now. I've found this post by timmmmmmmehhhhhh on the aa forums as it happens. I'm not worried at all. The rifle is so smooth, it's just the sound. It's a good suggestions mac. How much grease is the next question? --- Hi Homer, I didn't see your thread because I've been away, otherwise I would've chipped in before! It looks like you've solved the problem now anyway, there's nothing difficult to sorting it, it's just a shame that AA won't pull their finger out and sort out these recurring problems on existing models before ploughing £thousands on devel

Nope. AA Fields mate in my rifles perform out to 35-40 yards. 45 there shit, but that's just me

Sowa. Back to the subject. Bloody flirtin. Stripped, cleaned and re assembled. There is a slight twang developed, it's fine like, got a TbT kit coming but what are your thoughts as to where it might be coming from. The rifle is clean and smooth on the inside as both of my HW's. Got your seal in Mac, fits like a dream. Not crono'd yet, but there is no recoil. None. But a slight twang. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
-
You'll ruffle some feathers with this one mate... But I kinda agree.
-
Just a quick question or thought here. I've just this evening stripped my PS (god it's easy compared to the HW models) and found that it had 3 pre load washers... Thoughts? Is this in all? I'm planning taking two out, but do they all come with 3? Nice one.

For sale is my pro sport beech stock. The stock is quite literally brand new. As in 1 week old. I bought the pro sport last weekend, and being a lefty can't shoot it properly, but I have always wanted a PS, so I'm having a dedicated left hand stock made for it, hence the sale. The stock itself is in, well, it's damn brand new, like in the shop. Open to offers as I don't know what it's worth, I'd like around £90-£100 for it. Has to be picked up too, I've tried sending stocks in the past and it's a mission. Nice one.

Simon. Your point about the 77 mate. It's made me think, why are they overlooked? I can only imagine it's down to there looks... With today 97's and 200's bull barrels and so on, it could be down to the fact that the front end, barrel wise, just looks like two pipes. It's only an opinion here, but it has to be something. For me it's the looks. They dont perhaps looks as 'tuned' as the others... Maybe. I don't know. Nothing against performance of course, so it has to be aesthetics of course. They look vintage

Shes doesn't have a sister. FOR f**k SAKE. You homo's. Its a term of phrase... Those who that offended, your a bunch of wet lettuces. As an edit. I just realised we bascially said the same thing Charlie.
-
Nuff said mate. You know exactly what Im on about. Replied to your pm mac. Nice one.
-
Bloody french and british humor. Doesn't mix, clearly.
-
I would have to agree hear, tad heavy perhaps, so go for a 95 or as mentioned a 99, with a flake. The 98 is devastatingly accurate. Like beyond belief, it's takes a while to flirt with it to get it moist, but jesus, it puts in groups tighter than my birds little sister. Yup. That tight.

Ok. So. Having two HW's with the kit in, I'm now thinking about adding one to my Pro Sport. In the HW rifles, it's sound, it makes the rifles something else as some might know from my previous posts about them. I love the shooting process of the pro sport, it's slow, compared to the other two, and rather predictable, thus making it very accurate, and as long as I follow through, it's dead on, literally. However, not one to miss a trick, and if there is a possibility of making it a better rifle, I'll look into it. What I don't want to do is stick the kit in and basically have what feel

Finally got it right this evening, or what I think is right for now. It'll do. Fecking thing. As long as the rifle is is the most vertical up right position, the glass can work around that, at least I know I'm holding the main unit ie, the rifle vertical and not canted.
