Hi mate. Now this is a question Ive looked into myself. When I bought my PS, it was outputting 10.8-9'ish as standard but it was lovely. Which I was a abit surprised about. On raking through the forums, and the AA owners club, I find that 'most' Pro Sports are sent out of the factory on the lower end of the scale power wise. A chap I spoke to who even rang Air Arms about it, saying that he and his 3 mates bought Pro Sports, none of which sent a pellet out at any more than 9.5, and they told him that the rifle are set that way from the very start. Its due to the Pro Sports liquidy smooth fi
  6. Proper nice man. So sickly SWAT too Rets not my cuppa like, but its was a half mil dot system... heavily considered.
  7. Super. Your missing out if you don't try HFT my man. What you learn on the course, brings a new skill to the field, you begin not to miss. Best of luck wit it all, whatever all of it is
  8. I agree it is about shot placement but out to 40 yards max I don't think there is any need for .177 in my opinion Hmm. The thing is that both calibre's are as good as each other. A cracked record here but it really is a preference thing. End of this bloody calibre story A lot of the air gunners on here, I guarantee, will have both calibre's a in the cabinet. It's part of the joy of ownership and shooting. The need will come mate when your down at the peg, and find that the heavier 22 will not pass through the crate or the gap in the logs to hit the kill zone for the point or two. Mos
  9. I have a synthetic one mate... Dunno if you want it for now? Absolute mint condition. You can have it for 40 beans.
  10. Where the hell would I get a bolt plate from for my mk1? Rapid owner club forum. Before any one says... Should of thought.
  11. I think there basically built on the raider platform... Nice looking mind. Keep the 97. It would be good to see one though, ain't seen one in years.
  12. I have actually just purchased a rangefinder so this will come in useful. At what distance do you zero for .22 My 22's are set at 30 yards. But to be honest, 32 would be better for the curve.
  13. My reason is this. With .177 i limit my daytime hunting to 35/40 yards and lamping I limit it to 25/30 yards. I feel no need for the .177 for these distances has im convinced that the .22 will do the job Have you just answered your own question... Not that it was a question.
  14. well put i agree Oooooooowwwwwwaaaaa. The 177 lovers are gonna bend you over now Simon
  15. Ive grown up with 22... a 22 air rifle being the dogs bollox years ago. When getting more into the sport and as the groups tighten up over the years, I went for 177 rifles which helped in comps etc. If Im going on a rabbitin sesh and perhaps want to actually bag a few, I'd probably take my 177 HW100. If I was going to just get out and take a shot at any game I may come across, Id take the 22, either the 7 or the 97. Theres a certain joy in using a 22 when you've been shooting 177. Especially with a springer. In the summer months I like to think the 97 will get out more than the others.
  16. Name a better weapon... Go on. Name one?! Don't say a 100 v'man Not even in the same league. The speed at which this thing moves. Any in the classifieds admins?!
  17. I've seen this video come up on my feed a few times on the choooooob, but never really tapped it. Some may have seen it, some not. It's not as good as I thought it might be, but I'm surprised to find the flatties to be of prefer. As an edit. It's a bit dated now... I mean, who the f*ck would own a raider?!
  18. Proper modern warefare man Dup.Dup.Dup.... Dup.Dup.
  19. Looks nicely done man. But... What is it with all this carbon fibre wrapping shit? Its been about for a while now, and Ive always wondered what its all about.
