Same mate. But from what I've seen and heard, it's fine. It's perhaps not the plastic trigger (it's no doubt so dense and sorted it'll be fine. Remember the 100 has a kinda plastic blade) it's more the one stage affair... One stage triggers can seem a bit budget. Although, that said, it's something to get used too. The R8 is clearly aimed at field work, it won't break scores on the HFT range but will be reliable and accurate. A proper hunter. No doubt would suit your rabbit bashing sessions mac down to a tea needs a 177 variant mind. Now your a convert.

Thought about getting one myself the other week, but decided against it. Only because it wasn't a 'need'. They are, however, excellent. 10 x true mil dots and all that. Superb ret and the glass I thought is ok. Well worth it in my own opinion. If your open to ideas, I can highly recommend the menace 4-14 first focal plane mate. Mil dots stay true at any mag as opposed to a set mag. Nice and heavy too, at a kilo in weight, they aid steadiness. The only down side is the turrets, real big tactical style, but it's a small downside in comparison. About the same cost as the Airmax.

Hello all. Errrrrm. It might of been a moment of madness that sale post above after a few JD's. Leave this with me and I'll think about it. I've sold rifles in the past... You know how it is... Once you get a special one you wish you'd never let it go, irrelevant of the money. It won't go no where for now and thanks for all the private messages, if I do sell it, it'll go to a THL member.

+ 1 V-Mach for me mate. Have two and they are so sound. HW80. You don't here much about these nowadays, kinda a stablemate of the hunting fraternity. Be nice to see one with the polish and tune jobby going on. HW mod up front and what a set up.

Hello all. I don't know what I'm thinking by doing this as it's my holy grail rifle. But I'd doesn't get used now, so best pass it on. For sale is my .177 HW98. The rifle is blisteringly accurate and has been very, very well looked after. I installed the v-Mach kit myself to great success, polished the internals and got it running smooth as you like. The rifle has been with me in numerous HFT comps including the Daystate midlands competitions, and puts in tight 1 hole groups outs to 35 yards with ease, and it's been fed a lifetime of AA Fields 4.52. Feck me it's all kicked off and it's only bin a day. All you lot, other than mr mac and myself, should be out in the field... It's cold, there's nothing about and all that Again, on a serious note, it is nice being out and about with my killers, the thing is the rifles don't like the cold...

Have you tried any other mods? If it happens with others, then it could be down to how the pressure is exiting the barrel @ muzzle. As it shoots fine without any mod, if there was a pressure issue it wouldn't be noticed. If it groups well with any other mod, then just ditch the Q Tec and get a twink

Get lost all of ya I finish work around half six, so getting up before the last bits of light are an issue, this time of year. And I don't have this SAS night vision shit either. However, I do agree about the sitty tress and and that. Next time, I'll go and come back successful.

I went and came back with f*ck all. Not a thing about. It's been a while since I went up last and found that the trees are now literally bare. How quickly it happens. However. I did get a cold finger. Missed shooting club too for it... Gutted. Roll on the summer lads. Roll on the summer.
