    Do indeed try a PS mate. Liquid smooth. Really. Low on power my own, but I find it better that way, especially on the course.

    No offence with this... But for god sake?!? A quick internet search will tell you they are as good as each other but the 97 is better no. Honestly. It is. Once refined, there isn't a better springer. Get one in 177 and you will wonder why you thought you were accurate with a pcp. When you realise you weren't, the 97 will show you the way. Get a 97. Fair enough, a TX is nice, lovely in fact, my PS is superb, but it will be for sale before my 97. Cool avatar by the way.

    Alright man. Apologise but it was sold a few weeks ago. Miss it, but it's gone. Good luck it finding one, absolute bangin rifles those 98's.

    Agreed with one above. A good rifle is good until it goes wrong. There are just as many problems with all models as there are DS models. A point I made months ago now in a post, it's just the DS models problems seem to hit the forums or "headlines" more. It might be down to the fact that they are very expensive and the more you pay, the more your annoyed when it doesn't work as intended. I like DS. I wouldn't own one, there a bit old man for me, but I do like them.

    Smaller than the 2 inch one on the sidewinder? They do do them, if you have the 4 inch one.

    Got out today, mid afternoon. Not much to report really, same spot as before, hardly any birds shown up, 3 landed, missed one due to a out of focus twig, very windy mind and perhaps these two were 'planned luck'. Took the pro sport... With it's new wood, now a lefty. Performed as expected. Crono'd and only outputting 9.8 FPE... But the rifle hardly moves and can still do the job it would seem. Both birds had entry and exit holes @ 32 and 37'ish yards. Mac's passed on his rather superb pyke head mask and it was great today with a cold wind thrashing me chops. Nice one mac.

    Alright man. Ill be surprised if a strut has been developed for your rifle to be honest. Im guessing its not already a GS system though? Why do you want a strut in it?

    Agreed with the above. I would like a .177 model myself though, if I had a tuned 97 @ 177 I wouldn't need another rifle. For everything else a .22 would be fine, but find it hard when some HFT course targets are set up only for the flatter .177 round. I have thought about getting all my rifles in the classifieds to fund a proper 97 project. 1200 quid HW97. Hmmm.

    At the end of the day, for two grand, it ain't gonna shoot any better then any 100, 97, TX, PS, 410, 510, Ultra... The list goes on. And on. Probably better than macs scorpion but anyway jokes mac, and you know it What would we pay the extra 1200 for?!

    Alright man. Good question but one perhaps more suited to the DS fb group or something. If your after a ticket huntsman, there would be the best place to look. The classifieds on here... I've never seen a huntsman for sale, let alone a ticket one, but I haven't searched so far back. As an edit, I haven't looked in ten last day or so, so one may of have cropped up. Then on to the spread question... It's a specialist that'll answer that one. Best of luck with it.

    I've finally got all the rifles I need... (For now...) Hunters to the left, a 100 when I can't be arsed to think about the shot, and my course pro sport. Now fully ambi stock, similar to the original. A menace on the 97 and a sidewinder 30 on the PS. I wondered what all you lot have images wise? I see your signatures in your posts with your rifles, but it's always nice to see what you have with an image, show us your set ups if it's as good or better in terms of likes, mac might send the winner a picture of himself
