Loving this right now.., really catchy riff…, yeah, yeah!

I’ve made too many mistakes to mention, but that’s how I learn.., but I haven’t made any I can’t live with…, yet! As I get older I’m fascinated by the journey I’ve taken, and the thousands upon thousands of decisions I’ve taken which have led me to the exact place I am now. The choices I’ve made, a lot of which seemed trivial at the time, the times when I zigged on a gut instinct when I might just as easily have zagged, and when I look back now I can see I might have been taken somewhere entirely different by now…, especially in terms of work. On regrets.., I wished I made more of my educat

I get what you’re saying to a degree, but there are a lot of folks trying to scrape by on minimum wage salaries, or even zero hour contracts. These people were living hand to mouth 12 months ago, add the fairly substantial increases in food, gas/electric, petrol, mortgage/rent and some people are really on their uppers now. We were dirt poor for a time when I was nipper, and seldom what you might call flush…, but fortunately never had to suffer the indignity of free school meals etc. I genuinely feel empathy for those people that work hard and try and raise their kids right, but never se

Definitely. I’m not a fan of his at all anymore, but appreciate he has/had immense talent. His recent antics at Man U are an act of selfish treachery imo, and the fact he wasn’t fully utilised by Portugal at the World Cup speaks volumes for his stock there now too. For all that though, the media/social media pile-on is hard to watch…, some may say deserved or that it comes with the territory, but I haven’t forgotten him and his missus lost a son just a few months ago. For all his fame and fortune, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

Beautiful that pal, I’d turn that into a Christmas card.

Terrible, an absolute tragedy.

Tom Hardy should stick to acting.

Too many of them now. Like woodpigeons too, a nest in every other tree. Probably drawn into gardens now that so many people feeding veritable buffets to garden birds. Wouldn’t have lasted 5 minutes in my garden back in the day, they’d have been hit with a barrage of air rifles, gat-guns, peg boards, cattys and all manner of traps.

Love a clear and frosty morning…, and getting out for a bit of a mooch about. Can’t understand people moaning about it being cold, it’s December ffs, it’s meant to be cold. Even had a few hours of snow yesterday morning, felt proper festive for a wee while. It’s the months of wet and windy weather that keeps me indoors that I find a grind. Not be long till it’s Spring again, that’s the joy of get older.., time just flies.

Thought England were unlucky, the better team and wrong end of a couple of poor decisions. That daft wee black lassie on ITV though, reckons Kane shouldn’t have taken the second pen, as it was against his club team mate, and England should have had a contingency for a 2nd penalty taker! She shouldn’t be allowed near a microphone again.

According to ITV commentator, England taking the knee now to ‘promote global inclusivity’ whatever the fcuk that means.. no mention of race or BLM. Now the players looking less than convinced they even want to do it now. That’s the problem when you jump on the band wagon.., when do you jump back off again.

ITV’s build up is fecking terrible. Seems to be the only credentials you need to get pitchside or in the studio is to be black or female. The only opinion there I rate is Souness.., and he’s a dick…, but at least he played at the highest level in club football, and at world cups for Scotland. The rest of these, I’ve no idea who they are. Where are the ex England internationals? I’m Scottish, and I think there should be two male English internationals and one French on the pundits line up tonight. If you can make one of them a black one then hooray for you. Anyway, going to crack open my first

Think it’s bad now, give it ten or twenty years. No way the state can afford to look after the elderly. Assisted dying definitely part of the solution. I’m fifty and would happily sign a form now, giving consent that when I can only live with assistance, and even then my quality of life is so poor I’m no longer happy, then they can pump me full of happy drugs and end my suffering. Then I’d like to be dumped out at sea to feed the crabs and the fish.., no wasting gas to burn my corpse, or taking up space in a cemetery for me.

Not the greatest Brazil side. Can’t stand that diving bxastard Neymar. Credit to Croatia, they weren’t fazed by Brazil. Come on Messi and the Argies. I bet them to win the tournament after losing to the Saudis, and they went from 10/3 2nd favourites out to 17/2.

Haven’t give a ha’penny to Oxfam since that. Scandal must’ve cost ‘them’ millions.

It’s a travesty that charities are operated, or allowed to be operated the way they are now. Taking the piss out of the generosity of others. They must be suffering now too as we go more cashless. I must’ve dropped hundreds into collection tins behind shop counters and bars down the years. Haven’t done much of that the last few years. Food banks seem a good way to donate straight to those that need…, and to local people too, Was chatting about them at work a few weeks ago with a guy, and he then decided to send out a site wide appeal for donations. He delivered what was donated to a local fo

See, now that’s how I’d take a pen. Dicks should be in the England coaching set up as a penalty specialist. Seen Spain and Japan go out with a whimper, with the most limp wristed pens I can remember. Burst the net or knock some cnut out at the back of the goals…, nothing else for it ?

How much was he offering? ?

Bit like a lot of the popular conspiracy theories this debate. Is it possible that they exist - yes. Is it probable - definitely not. But those that try and convince us of the highly improbable, present nothing in the way of credible evidence, but then also have the audacity to expect the sceptics to present evidence to prove they’re right. No wonder people think they’re mental.

Think you’re missing my point. All your speculation means zilch to me…, in one ear out the other. Fury needs to prove he’s the best by taking the belts from Usyk, and then maybe Joshua to back up all his boasting. Based on what’s gone before, I think he’ll avoid both. Hope I’m wrong. Edited to add, you have the last word if you like chief. I’m sick to death of talking about fights that won’t happen.
-
Didn’t see it.. did the ref actually ‘beg’ the corner, or are you exaggerating? Common/good practice for a ref to check on the corner of a fighter getting a hiding, and even warn them it’ll be stopped unless the fighter looks capable of turning it around. Usyk has a great record, but only a handful of bouts at HW…, so hardly an ‘all time great’…, but I don’t believe anyone called him that? So Chisora took him 12 rounds in his 2nd fight at the weight? Top Trumps. Chisora took Fury the distance in his 15th. Still think both Usyk and AJ would be stiffer opposition than a 38 year old Chisora
-
I’m not having that. Tyson Fury is the world champion ffs, not a walking charity. Chisora doesn’t, or shouldn’t need the money. And he was so far off the level required, he could have been badly hurt.., so I can’t see how this was doing Chisora a favour. Another case of rubbish hyped as a genuine and valid contest to part fools from their money, nothing else.
-
Come on now, I know you’re a big Fury fan and that’s fine. But crowing about this win? Fury retired Chisora on his stool eight years ago, having beat him once previously. There was no glory in what Fury did to a now 38 year old Chisora last night. Fight went precisely how me and most others predicted it would. A non event.
