Thought England played well. On another day they might have taken another chance or two. Think they'll qualify okay on that form, and I think Vardy will get his chance once England play a team that want to attack them and maybe leave space behind for JV to do what he does best. Frankie Boyle on England's performance; "Surprisingly poor finishing from a nation where most people can hit a French copper with a plastic chair from about 30 yards". He's got it about right ??

England Fans Have Started Playing Up At Euros
pesky1972 replied to dark-destroyer-85's topic in General Talk
The Russians are probably worse than the English. Seem to have done them anyway. The Welsh will be next. And this is only the beginning for me..., we've still the Germans, Poles,Turks etc. to come. I can see it kicking off all over. You should be pleased..., surely this can do the Brexit campaign no harm at all -

Where can I but a pair of those rose tinted specs Max? I'm not saying who started the fighting the other night, but to make out some North African/French attacked the innocent English support just having a quiet drink in the bar is fcuking ludicrous. I can imagine any passer by that looked even slightly North African getting dogs abuse from the English. And as for putting the boot in..., most of the criticism is coming from English journos, ex-players, politicians etc., not Scots, Irish Welsh etc. -

Can't understand all this blame game stuff. The English have an element of their support who go for the fighting. The Russians are the same. The French do too, and they'll have gone out of their way to engage with the English mob. In truth pretty much all countries do but mostly on a smaller scale than England. None of this is breaking news, and none of it unexpected. Personally I don't give a fcuk about fans fighting who want it, it's just a shame that a few innocent punters will get caught up in it and get hurt. The whole thing maybe has a bit of a more sinister backdrop this time though -
Some nice photos, and some good looking grub..., as always. Stuck a tenner on Lani e/w at 14/1 after reading this thread last night. Hardly life changing winnings, but better than standing in dog shite

Same. Had a few pit bikes when I was younger but never bothered with a bike on the road. Think I'd like something like a Ducati Monster.

Enjoyed that??

People drown and stop breathing, their heart stops beating so technically dead I suppose, but can be brought back to life. The longer they are gone the worse the damage to the brain will be due to the depletion in oxygen, but the brain does 'live on' after the heart stops. If the brain is active in this period then I guess memory is likely also. Cerebral hipoxia can induce a euphoric sensation.., lets say, like floating peacefully towards a bright light..., and if you are brought back then I guess you may retain the memory of it. That doesn't explain the 'pram on the roof', but if someone's go

That's something that I've speculated about for many years...What energy? All that's left of us once we die is our carcass. It'll break down and provide nutrients for other life to grow, or we can burn it, but it's not a huge amount in energy terms.

I'm fascinated by these kind of stories.., and I can totally believe that what happened was all true. What I can't do is begin to explain how the guy knew about the pram on the roof. I don't see it as proof that what's in the Bible is true either.

Who created the devil?
-
Don't mention the 'M' word.., you'll get another thread pulled?
-
Who created the creator..., and what did he/she do before we were created? Did they just sit around with a big pile of elements wishing they came with an instruction manual? Where did they find the stuff to create us with? Evidence of evolution is all around, and inevitable with intelligent life. I don't know if there is some 'supreme being' out there somewhere that has control over everything, but the absolute truth is that no-one does..., and maybe no living person ever will. I'd say plausible.., but extremely unlikely. Some folks need to believe that they have the answers, whereas s

My old fella used to take me up there in the 70's when I was a nipper. It felt a lot more remote and untouched than it is now. Still a beautiful part of the world though, especially if you get lucky with the weather. Same here mate,,family holidays up there from 75 onwards,,,the old a9 from Perth to Inverness was a single track road back then,,,then again from Inverness to gairlock,,,me old man used to work nights regular driving a truck,,,so we would go at night,,so he didn't break his sleep pattern ,,,drive up all night,,nothing on the roads,,, I remember it well..., we'd leave in
