What I find bewildering is the fact all he says in that article is 100% true, you can watch it unfolding in front of your eyes and still the apologists can't comprehend what is happening. I find the posts saying no nose a bit strange. All my dogs have been used as all rounders and whilst they would hunt like beagles daytime with enough work and experience none put their nose to the ground when lamping.

Well, in my humble opinion and limited experience, the best of fen dogs would never be a lurcher in the genuine sense of the word and the best of lurchers in the genuine sense of the word would never be a fen dog. Before everyone jumps in, I too have seen salukis lamping and collie crosses catching hares.

It's a bit like the lion thread revisited, we here about a specific lion but nothing about all the others as it doesn't yank the chains of the public. Massive coverage of this atrocity, (quite rightly) but how many gun related crimes do you think here and in the states have went unreported since this one.

The question is not why immigrants want to come here, that's as plain as the nose on your face. The question is why the powers that be are allowing it to happen on the scale it is. Well, at the risk of offending anyone, I've seen a few first crosses over the years and they all had one thing in common, they couldn't run a message. Second cross, more greyhound was an improvement but the best deerhound lurchers I seen had something else in their makeup, collie etc.

Each to their own, every man has his own method of exercise and how much to give. I haven't used a bike ever, or a treadmill for that matter. I really enjoy the walk and I've had pups out a fair old walk, running, chasing diving about before seven months never mind fourteen. All dogs are different and a good dog man can read his wards and regulate accordingly. I'd definitely think there are more dogs fcuked by being left laid in the kennel than being taken for a trot behind a bike of an evening. Don't see it that way myself mate, any lurcher keen enough and inclined to swim for a stick is more than capable of doing the same with birds. A stick is just a substitute for a dummy, and most dogs gundogs included are started on dummies.
