    I tell you what else I always thought was unfair, paying an increased tax rate on a second job. Years ago when I worked in the pubs a lot of the barmaids etc were nurses and other occupations and the bar work was only for a bit of pocket money. So whilst they spent a large part of their social life working, probably serving non workers they were getting hammered with tax for the pleasure of it. The ones quickest to decry them for having two jobs and it being their own fault were usually the ones not working through choice.

    At the end of the day the man who owns the pups can price them as he sees fit, however I don't see many lurchermen paying that kind of money for a dog which in all probability won't be the equal of a well bred lurcher which would cost a fraction of the asking price.

    Two things at the top of the snp agenda was all I had to see, 1, more immigrants. 2, increase the welfare state. We've got people up here who have never worked a day in their lives telling the working man that they should be ashamed of themselves for rejecting independence, I kid you not. The biggest supporters of independence were the benefit junkies and students.

    I think you might be missing the point, the snp and an enthusiastic patriot like yourself object strongly (understatement) to the English meddling in affairs in Scotland that don't concern them. Funnily you don't seem to have that hang up when it's the other way around. You can't have your cake and eat it, or as has happened perhaps you can.

    Thing is mate it's not really a major issue that would have had an impact on us up here in Bonnie Scotland, she could have kept her nose out but it would seem old habits really do die hard and she couldn't resist a kick at the English.
