i never can get my head around the fact its the RSPCA and not the police who seem to call the shots when it comes to wildlife crime, the police are suppose to uphold the law not a charity, if you commit a crime against an act of law the police should arrest you, gather there evidence, pass it to the CPS if the CPS believe there is enough evidence for a conviction then it will put you before a court where a judge and or jury will decide if you are indeed guilty or not, where, how and why has the RSPCA been allowed to walk all over this and do as they please, we have police officers who speciali

if nothing else this has opened up to the public that the rescue and re-homing centres they believed were receiving there donations via the RSPCA don't get a penny from funds given directly to the RSPCA, they only survive on what they raise themselves and in most cases the RSPCA logo is only used as a marketing tool to fund raise for the individual centres. i wonder how many people think the money they drop in the collection tin in the ASDA entrance actually goes to their local rescue centres, most i would assume. the reality being it is going to fund private prosecutions, lavish new buildings

  13. there fine for places where a rim fire is no use around building.horses etc., its not worth tuning up a sub 12 ft rifle as it will just loose value, the second hand route is the way to go all day long. i purchase one a few years ago just for a specific piece of ground, rapid 12, 20cal, 12.27 and 42 ft lb selector Simmons white-tail classic scope, mod plus divers bottle, second hand 350 quid and sold it a few years later for the same, as i say in certain situations where a rim-fire is not an option there the tool for the job, forget all this shooting further out nonsense stick to sensible range
