  1. If you paint them make sure they are 100% dry before you do. You could do them with a good masonry waterproof sealer which is clear.
  2. Put a bit of rough sand through the soil and as said water it, at night.
  3. If I heard correctly the Drumlanrigg show has a terrier and lurcher show on Sat and Sun, lurcher/terrier racing with terrier racing in the main ring on the Sunday and possibly a digging comp.
  4. Auchenlairie is the caravan park. If your taking the other half, head for New Abbey and give her a romantic walk round Sweetheart Abbey. Drive on to Sandyhills for an overnight, nice wee beach there. Avoid Southerness, shite. Stay on the coast road to Kirkubright an on to the cream-o-galloway, the kids will love it there. From there the aforementioned farm is not that far. From there Newton Stewart is close and it takes you to the Clattering shows/ New Galloway road. On this you have a few historical stops, Clattering shows dam with fishing, deer park, wild goats and the Raiders road. Loch
  5. One thing wouldn't surprise me is if he gave his 'fee' to charity, as in one to do with the rainforest. I think he is a top man.
  6. Has anyone forwarded the auction and the story behind it to the national press.
  7. Brick part of the sides, this will stop the others pissing in next doors space, bowls. As said above, I think its always better if a dog can see the others.
  8. Can't stand it when they don't sing their national anthem before kickoff. Playing / representing your country should be the proudest moment of your life.
  9. Aye, suppose when it's like that it would give you a start and yes, best to simply shrug your shoulders and leave it there. Never let it eat at you, that sort of stuff ruins lives. try to chill if you can ,I was following a slow bugger down a lane 40mph speed limit , this twat was doing 28 mph , so I was arse to arse with him. he kept braking every 10 yds lol , come to junction had to stop . a bloke got passenger side , said if you don't fook off from back of the car I will kill you . 10. KM Engineering, top gear, top man. I have had Reeves, Sherlocks and he beats them hands down. He supplies kennels etc to Davy Lisset, Billy Steele Jnr, Andy Platt etc, some of the countries top dog trainers.
  11. Lukey, I'm sure a few cleverly chosen mates in the back of said works van would aid this person to stop annoying you.
  12. Please note this is my experience with SCOTTISH law, English laws may be different, but worth a shot.
  13. If they have an official separation date, documented by their lawyers, then anything they both had before that date will be shared, legally. I.E. If he wins the lottery after said signed date she can't claim a penny. Get it withdrawn and give it as a ' gift ' to a VERY trusted mate, if they don't have a lawyers letter confirming an exact separation date.
  14. A word of warning for those of you who may be regular B & Q customers. Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get a few bits and pieces has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you! Here's how the scam works: Two seriously good-looking 20-21 year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the boot. They both start wiping your windscreen with a rag and Windolene, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. It is virtually impossible not to
  15. NO working dog should have an undocked tail if it causes that dog to suffer pain and stress whilst doing the job it is bred for. My young spaniel out picking up on a shoot last year.

  17. This could be true, most members are round the bend One thing I did notice was that most cars do move over a wee bit to let you slip past, plenty of left thumbs from me. All in all it was a great weekend, Hawes, Hartside cafe, Whitby via Ripon then over the moors, Filey. Weather wasn't the greatest but hey ho there are worse things out there.
  18. Me and a few mates will be meeting in the area near Blubberhouses over the weekend on our motorbikes. I'll be heading down tomorrow and doing a wee bit of the small roads so if you see me give me a wave or a flick of the indicators, then I'll know your on the THL. I'll be on a black bike, black clothes, black helmet, oh and the giveaway will be the Saltire flag flapping about behind me fixed to my rack.
