  1. I was at the show. Bad points for me were defo the amount of cars parked round the rings, so close they were touching the ropes. Maybe another rope a few yards back from the ring would help and leave space for Humans and their dogs ( thats what the show is for, yes ). The schedule for lurchers was a waste of time as things were done out of order. Bedlington x classes should have been done 1st or last so there wasn't an empty ring waiting on dogs that were in the other ring. On the handlers chat/bragging, this happens at every show and is a shame. The crazy thing is most haven't a clue who is
  2. Our players can do it at club level just not international...........Scottish players cant do it for either Is this because the English clubs that can 'do it' are mainly full of foreign players 'helping' the English lads. I do agree they there should be a limit to how many overseas players a team has, but money talks. All this comparing Scottish and English football is nonsense. Population/facilities/people in the sport and money makes it a no brainer. Re-wind a few decades when the money wasn't all about football and things were a bit different. Plenty of top English clubs had a

  6. Quite a few from across the border coming down to this show, was a good show last year. Plenty to see and watch, even line dancing !!!!
  7. Getting colder, bring it on.

  8. I always say that every doctor should have a wedding ring in their case. If it can heal a womans 'gash' it will heal anything !! Tattoo a ring on your finger, not her name. Wear it on a chain round your neck.
  9. Well done to the winner today, 2 years on the trot. A well run show today, credit to those who run it.
  10. Glad the show went well today for all. I hear there was a worthy winner in the lurcher class, nice dog with speed to burn and an owner who puts in a lot of time helping out at lots of shows.
  11. Pontop pike, Dipton, County Durham DH9 9AS
  12. Just wanted to point out they the 2 days are being run as separate shows. If you win on the Saturday there is no need to return for a winner takes all on the Sunday. All the qualifiers will apply to the winners on both days.
  13. Yip, same for me. I would also have kept the dog on the right in the other 'dog' photo.
  14. Old bath towel, few stitches in the right places and hey presto a lovely jacket for your mutt.
  15. Shame, hope he gets a good home and not the merry-go-round.
  16. I heard thats how he committed suicide, they offered the part to Frank Malloney !!
  17. Not seen the sire running but have seen the dam and she certainly can do her job of filling the freezer. He travelled a long way for this mating, plenty of thought put into it.
  18. Not sure, but this might be the spot. Can someone confirm please ? Pontop pike, Dipton, County Durham DH9 9AS
  19. Raw chicken in the morning, beta greyhound in the evening. Dogs look shit.
