I would think you would be better buying a pup and training it to your standards. Or ask about in the trialling scene for a dog who is not good enough to make 'the grade' doesn't mean it wont do everything you want. Have had a few trialling dogs myself that weren't good enough to make it in trialling but were decent work dogs.

Where in that post does it say good dogs always throw good pups? Read it again slowly, and you will find the underlying message is 'stack the odds in your favour' I even put it in bold for special people The best way of doing that IMO is to source your pups carefully from well bred parents that are doing their job. End of.

So many lurcher lads these days all talk about kill kill kill. If that's what your after get a 22.250 and a thermal imaging kit, you will be a legend within the week Id prefer to be out enjoying the peace and quiet and using field craft and knowledge to put game in front of the dog. 4x4 lamping can make mediocre dogs look good, I know because I've seen it many a time. That's a terrible way of going about things Trigger, one that's heard often, and one that's simply not true. Yes shit dogs sometimes through good offspring, but very rarely. If you are after decent stuff, you stack the odds in your favour, and the best way of doing this is by getting pups from parents that have stood the test of time. IMO

In 30 Celsius I would think any shooting type clothing will be far too warm. I would go for Paramo stuff. Expensive yes, but its the only kit I've had that keeps you cool and waterproof. Most of the stuff labelled as 'breathable' simply isn't. Don't use it for going though rough stuff though once damaged there not as waterproof.
