Do you know that the 'countryside' as we see it isn't a natural environment? It's the way it is because of centuries of human management, we've been preserving it as it is for a very long time.. ..and I suspect many members on here have been out persecuting the animals that live there many a time, I know I have have.. You could almost say they've been hunted... Yes we have to manage it because we have already f****d it up, how is that or hunting relevant to persecuting endangered species? So what do you suggest we do?

Working terriers should not be for sale. Full stop. If people only gifted terriers to people they knew and trusted there wouldn't be as many c**ts in the sport dragging it through the shit. And on the flip side there wouldn't be as much shit being churned out year on year. Putting a price tag on pups only means when they spew, which happens in all breeding, they owe a 'debt' to the owner. Which is why you see them passed about or sold on as 'bolting dog, rabbiting terrier, bushing bla bla' instead of the right thing being done. To breed a litter and keep 1 sell the rest for £200, wh

I've been looking for farming/estate worker jobs but can't seem to find any that will take me on, i can drive but no car. Might take a walk tomorrow, not many farms round here though. http://www.4xtrahands.com/ Even if you have to bluff your way onto a job go for it Tractor driving isn't rocket science, harvest work like carting grain and silage is piss easy and long hours = $$

Get yourself some farm work. Get yourself round chapping doors and you might be surprised at this time of year. If you can drive all the better.

List Of EstatesSTRANGER replied to DazAllison1's topic in Gamekeeping, Conservation & Shoot Management Seen an advert in a local paper in Kirriemuir last week, shouldn't think it would be too difficult to find out which it is. Would mean staying with a load of filthy poles and even filthier smackheads from Forfar for 6 weeks tho! ATB

Just thought I would introduce myself to be polite Was on here a long while back as a different member and decided to pop back for a wee look. Currently living in the Scottish Highlands working as a wildlife contractor on various sporting estates. Pastimes are as follows in order of favourite:- Terrierwork (digging) Lurcherwork(day and night) Following hounds ferreting fishing shooting (shotgun and rifle) Cheers

Well living and working in the Scottish Highlands you see these sort of things quite regular, and I've become rather complacent when I see them. But the first and only time I saw a sea eagle over in Angus I was gobsmacked. They are f***ing huge See golden eagles and other flying vermin(joke ) on a regular basis up the tops. FTB
