    Just been offered another shotgun and its been that long since ive done it I cant remember the procedure I know the seller has to send a letter away informing the firearms officer that they have sold you the gun, but do I, the buyer, also have to send a letter saying I have bought the gun and put it on my licence? Any help much appreciated

    It is harsh I know but you cant possibly legislate every freak occurrence to try and stop stupidity. Accidents can and do happen and will continue to do so even in this PC, health and safety, red taped country. IMO it makes it worse, no one has any common sense any more

    There is no solution. Everyone is responsible for their own animals, and if they are so thick to allow it to kill their child so be it. If it happens enough maybe people will think twice before getting an animal that has no place in a family environment. And that's not just bull breeds, that includes all of these big dogs that can inflict a lot of damage in a short space of time, and includes all dogs close to small children.

    You get folk cycling up and down the A9 here (yes that's right possibly the most dangerous road in Scotland). There is a purpose built cycle track 50 yards to their left and they ignore it. tell you what if one of them got stuck under my wheels and dragged half a mile, id peel them off and carry on my way with a guilt free conscience. Stupid skin tight c**ts.
