  1. Well, there`s not much wrong with the Genesis according to those photos Rez. Nice shooting I`ve yet to pair and shoot the MTC with my FWB 124 Sport, - that might prove to be a really nice match up ? I`m enjoying the reticule, very precise, straight forward half mill dot. atb Mark.
  2. Yeah, me to Sean. I`ve shot some high numbers down the club with a friends HW 97 with the Genesis on top. The Mamba 4-16x50 that you sold me has taken a hill side of vermin with me, so each to their own again, i guess. Gave a basic zero to this Genesis this late afternoon and "feck me" is she accurate on the Sandwell Field Sports tuned HW 77
  3. Yeah i`ve had this on rare occasions with the Mamba scopes if i`m, ( i think), ever inconsistent with eye relief and gun mounting etc in low and good light. If i present my rifle, eye relief etc the same every time, any white out is history in my daytime shooting and the Mamba scopes " tell you to - get consistent" if you are not. atb Mark.
  4. Surprising that is Mitch ? but we all have our preferences . I own 4 Daystate scopes, i love `em but none of their rifles. Also own 3 Hawke scopes, love them too. atb Mark.
  5. Picked up a nice Ultra-Lite from one of the lads off this forum with a view to pairing it with either of the classic FWB Sport or HW 77 full length. I even got his signature ( seller`s) to adorn my wall with. A nice lightweight, daytime scope. atb Mark
  6. and the next question is ? .22 isn`t it Mitch ? There was a spotless one on free ads last time i looked,- yesterday.
  7. Yes Deker, 12 ft/lbs is fine for my needs. Average distances 30 to 40 yards. My zero is always 38 yds with the HW 100 KT .177.and all of my .177 rifles.
  8. A number of pigeons and corvids about the drilled fields of late. Here`s the hide. Surrounding fields. This Magpie was wary , Notice behind the Magpie, the pigeons were starting to feed. Drag files here to attach, or choose files... Accepted file types
  9. Stick with the devil you know Ry. How do you better a HW 100, in any format, at sub 12 ft/lb level ? atb mate, Mark.
  10. Jim, Vermin Hunters TV, Si and Davy did a cracking review on this rifle, take a look at it mate. atb Mark.
  11. Chuck those pellets in the bin Jim where they belong. For me, the best .22 ratting pellet " by far", on close up ranges, is the 11.9 g flat headed Hobby. 30 yards and on wards the Hobby becomes more and more inaccurate, under 30 yards, superb, with a very flat trajectory. Do you actually use that super 6 Elite Jim - in public ? Joking aside mate, fill her to just 180 bar, put Falcon Accuracy Plus through her and use the first 28 shots only as that is the
  12. Ditto to Phil, Jimmy. I too have had to see similar and luckily is better now. Stay with the sport and your mates. Anyway sub 12 ft/lb hunting takes far more skill and field craft than a recoiless air cannon I`ll get my coat on the way out. atb Mark.
  13. It`s about time one of Mitch`s guns actually shot something "Only saying like" Twat x
  14. The lads are totally correct in the 100`s being recommended. Here`s a dark horse for you lads Brocock super six elite ?( little skeleton stock) ? .177 cal, filled to just 180 bar gives outstanding accuracy, right up there with the 100`s/ ultras but it is has no reg`. At a fill of 180 bar ( sweet spot ) it gives 28 shots of pure accuracy " second to none" and they are very light and very reliable guns. Couple of years ago now but shot one down the club and boy was i impressed, 11.8 ft/lbs too. atb Mark.
  15. Not on my crappy phone you won`t mate It`s a proper phone, ring, ring, text, text, that`s it. Paypal sorted Rez and Thank you. Mark.
  16. I`ve paid Jonjon a £10 deposit on this gun already Jimmy . " Honest" Sorry xx Twat ! x
  17. Forgive me lads but here`s an FAC conker throw i thought you might like to see. Overhand throw and lased at 38 yards. After much practice, conkers are extremely accurate. atb Mark.
  18. As per Nathen. Nice shooting atb Mark.
  19. Shhhhhhh Jim ! They won`t believe it ! " The Iceman "
  20. Perfect shot placement John . Compliments.
  21. Took my dog on a nice walk today, over my permission by the woodland permission i also shoot. No guns, just my GSP and a 2-12 whistle. Earlier in this year we had the first pair of breeding Partridges in years and to be honest, every opportunity to keep the corvids, squirells etc at bay, was taken. We counted a covey of 10 birds in july and have seen nothing rise from the the ground cover since I was " made up" today lads, Kaiser lifted a covey of adult/ juvenile Partridges and they counted 10.
  22. Yeah Twat, if Phil says this- It`s defo an FX and as Jim says,- probably an Impact. .22 cal , - for those who can`t shoot.
  23. Try Tim MacAvoy at Standish, Wigan Phil. ( MacAvoy Guns). Blackpool Air Rifles may also be worth a shout ? Where in Lancashire are you mate ? atb Mark.
