Brocock Contour Super 6 Xl .177
mark williams replied to Beastmaster1980's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Had one of these rifles for a spell and found that if you only fill to 180 bar she returns 28 "smack on the money shots" - very accurate within that rule. atb -
Shooting mate . Your bags will, at the very least, be "trebled" with a Gat 100 in .177 under that NV. Gat ? I meant HW 100, in any format, but obviously in .177 cal` atb

Brand New Hw100 .22 Accuracy ?
mark williams replied to vizlauk's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Hi Vizlauk, As said, clean out the barrel thoroughly and put 500 Air Arms "only" or other "only" through her and see where you stand then, lead the barrel. Hope it helps any. -
Ah well, very generous of you anyway .

I will give those snares a loving home Chris - yes please !

To keep the farmer happy i would snare that hedgerow 24/7 for a fortnight and "be in control" of their numbers as clearly they are causing a lot of damage. Any hunter cannot "lay in wait" 24/7 but a snare will. The reason i mention snares again is that trapping/ hunting go hand in hand and your bags will improve considerably if you "need" to employ both methods. Try using natural blinds that are built and living, if not, dead, still and "permanent" - the rabbits get so, so used to the natural hides being there all the time. If you can see right through y

Lusomage trapping, field craft and air gunning go "hand in hand" when hunting. If you are under pressure to remove as many rabbits as possible - as soon as possible - then snares are the answer. If the land owner says no to snares then as suggested - night vision and late nights. Good Luck

Scope Ideas For Bsa Scorpion Se
mark williams replied to Masha081277's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Mamba lite are a nice light weight scope with the built in "lock on" reticule. Just put the Mamba Lite 3-12x 44 SCB on my T-Rex and getting some very accurate results. I also have the Mamba Lite 4-16 x 40 SCB on my 100 kt with more than accurate results. Take a look through all the suggestions and other scopes Masha as "each to their own" Good Luck -
Simply put those 15 shots = 15 rabbits at 40 yds kneeling, even the flyer is "Good night Vienna". Shooting VM

Ditto random, but with my lads as the wife is as bad as me ! If it doesn`t say ON or OFF i`m f"cked. VM - take a card out of the camera (ace of spades ?) and put it in a bucket of photos, i`m getting old mate but if my lads sit me down and take the pish it usually cures me. Not that they take the pish a lot ! atb

Hi xraiderx, Yes thats the predator bench rest, good bit of kit. Cant use my "recovered bubble" on the T.Rex it has to be the rail mount for precision but i can use your method on my HW`s. Putting 5p size `ish groups together with the T-Rex at 37 yds indoors off this bench. By the way XRX you have a very smart rifle there. atb.

VM ! VM! ---- VEEEE EMMMM ! See i told you he would ! You`ll love it Mac

I dont care much for either lending or borrowing at my local range so treated myself to the Predator bench rest and Hawke gun level. The bench rest seems very sturdy indeed and the rifle level which clamps on to the rails is very accurate and reactive to the slightest movement. Have any of you lads/ gals used these ? atb.

Come on Mac your dying to tell us aren`t you

Your buying a full length HW 100 Sport aren`t you, in .177 flavour to boot ? - that will be great for night time shooting

Congratulations Shep on your Golden anniversary. Down your pants by Daz is a brilliant idea. I very recently treated myself to a TX 200 HC and a mamba scope to keep her company, when the Dragon saw it she retorted - "Another gun"! . I replied - well it could have been "another woman" or "another pint" or "another betting slip" couldn`t it Nah ! she knows me - "Out in the wilds were i belong"
