I would say its energy transfer, the larger pellet causes more damage, more shock transfer to the target, hence they appear to drop quicker, dead is dead, but more damage means lights out on the spot.

The offer is always there, like you I am pretty busy myself, well apart from the weeks fishing I am going off in the morning for ?

He is a criminal, convicted in a court of law. Sorry stating facts hurts your feelings I guess. No, i believe it's your presence that hurts feelings, like most on this thread I wish you would f**k off with your treasonous views, if you can't stand behind our troops perhaps you should try standing in front of them.

I have never heard so much drivel. 17 bags of cement to mix 3 cube .??????? Do you realise 3 cube of concrete is over 7 ton ?What bloody mix do you lads do, your calculations are miles out, and don't even add up, you say a 1:5 mix at worst case scenario, so that's nearly a ton of cement not 17 bags ? for Christ sake don't drop anything on it as the slab will crack. You need, 960 kg of cement = 38 bags 5.4 ton of ballast 900 litres of water That will mix you 3 cubic metres of a c20 mix But, why oh why are you going 300mm deep, that's quite ridiculous, if your building as a raf

Both nice dogs, I have two opposites, one is constantly on the go, unable to walk, he has to run everywhere, like a thing on speed, flat out 24/7 and starts going haywire when he see the cabinet getting opened. The other one, sleeps for 18 hours a day, and won't pee for 2 days if it's raining, has to be dragged off her sofa

Rip to the victims. I will not air my thoughts on here as it is only detracting from the poor victims today, I just hope someone will sit up and taken notice of this problem now.

Thanks, I have just sent him a pm

Speak to Aram, he can arrange trips as well as put you on the fish from the shore, runs the tackle shop in caletta. In all honesty, the boat fishing is good, but some awesome fishing from the rocks as well, I have had bluefish, gars, bonito, hammerhead, Ray's, some BIG fish from close in, as well as the small hard fighting palometta, they are great fun on light tackle.

A Bit More Practice On Those Standing Shots
Rabid replied to Jonjon79's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Well done, some bloody good groups really, I couldn't hit the side of a barn, if I was standing inside it, left handed, got me wanting to try now though -
Sorry Dave, can't help you on this, but I can tell you a quick story that had me laughing. We had a small pigeon shoot at mine a few weeks back, I walked down the field with my new pup, he is just getting the hang of retrieving pigeons, went to see how one of the guns was doing, dog spotted his birds, through the bushes and grabbed one and brought it straight back to me, then decided he wanted the one on the flapper, chaos ensued for the next minute whilst he chased it round and round, I eventually called him of, on the way back he grabbed a decoy and retrieved it to me.

Look up Aram from 'gone fishing' in caletta, I have fished a lot off the rocks, had some excellent trips and landed some awesome fish.

Just booked a week away in north Cornwall, 2 miles from boscastle to be precise, not sure I will bother with any charters, but would be very interested in some each/Rock/shore fishing if anyone knows the area and can point me in the right direction, not after anyone's secret marks (but won't turn them away either) just a few pointers as every time I have fished Cornwall I have taken my own boat down.

Kev is certainly the man with Rapids nelly, I wouldn't send one anywhere but to him after he worked on mine. I posted mine upto him and had it back less than a week later.

Thanks for the replies lads, was thinking I may look at one due to the cocking lever been better that the cricket, saw one in the flesh yesterday and it didn't do as much for me as I expected it would. Villaman, that is one awesome reply, I would give both legs to own one.

Has anyone on here got one, am looking for the low down on them from someone who actually owns one.

It was legal fees, due to the cap on legal aid he had to pay for his own defence, I am led to believe they didn't have the money so borrowed it/took a loan or similar. The bright side is he was found not guilty, and why was the scrote who was shot in the foot, in a wheelchair for the court appearance 18 months later ?

Nice one Rich, let me know if you want a hand dragging them out sometime !

Blimey, this takes me back a few years, I remember bombing around in these, and the Renault 5 turbo, the escort rs, a cossie, those were the days, I would almost buy it for sentiment value, so what's the OVNO that's acceptable ? To be honest, if these go the way the fords have, this will only ever go up in value quite seriously, so to a collector/investor it could be a good buy.

So to get rid of a bad neighbour You have to become a bad neighbour. I think she should have a word and try sort it that tit for tat never ends well. Agreed, if you read the post properly you would have seen that's what I suggested first. However, some people, (townie type chavs been one) don't respond well to reason, so yes, if the problem persisted I suggest becoming a bad neighbour, fight fire with fire, and I have no qualms about doing it if the need arises, I deal with situations, not pussy foot around pandering to needs of the world.

Old news that dogs can carry tb, but the important part is where, if it's in the urine then it's a high risk to cattle, that's the problem with the Badgers, they pass it on through urinating on grass, I can't remember the facts but I don't recall dogs carrying it that way. Lots of animals carry tb, it's how they carry it that counts and if it makes it a risk of transmission.

Rape is always a favourite of mine, but the bloody farm I shoot isn't growing it this year. Peas is another good crop to get them on, and Spring drilling is a firm favourite, along with laid barley in the summer, gotta love pigeon shooting.

QUITE WELL ...461 ..you better ring me next time you go out other wise I can see your machines having fuel troublesYour always welcome mate, they hammer the grass all year round usually, anytime you fancy it just say. I should add, I don't usually do that well, 30 or 40 birds is a good day for me with my twisted eyesight and bent barrels !
-
Sound like a bunch of townie chavs if you ask me, I can't stand them folk, personally, I would be hammering ten bells out of his door at the first squeak I heard, but then I'm over 6 foot and often referred to as a brick outhouse. In your case I would get on to everyone, your landlord, the police, find the landlord who owns next door, council, you name it I would be on to them, the more fuss that's made to as many people as possible the better. Or, you could play hard ball, live catch rat traps, every now and again drop half a dozen rats through his letterbox, bad tenants usually soon

Nice one rich, best of a bad situation. We had a bash on the pigeons last week and done quite well for us, 6 guns, 461 picked, they seem to like the clover in the grass at the moment.
