  1. Feck me, four and a half years must be the longest sale ever !
  2. Well done, it's always a good feeling when you fix something off your own back. Now PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR AND STEP AWAY FROM THE PAINT !
  3. It really is a lottery with eggs, I sent some to Kenya last year, 10 from the dozen I sent hatched, I also sent some to Surrey and they said only 1 hatched from the 12 sent, from the same pen, in the same week, go figure !
  4. Best advice is to slow down, take this on the chin and learn from it
  5. another trick cut some hazel whips split an inch or so at the bottom put a little stone in the split and replant Really, and this will regenerate ? its what they used to do years ago im not sure if it works every time but it does work Never to old to learn, I had never heard that before. I will give it a try and see what happens as I have access to plenty.

  7. They would deny it, not only are they useless, complete waste of space, and clueless, but they are also a lying bunch of barstewards
  8. Can't be a real Landy in the first pic, no oil pissing out the hub seals. those .177 need a lot more oomph to get them going, hope the kit gets you sorted.
  9. What price you wanting moxy, I have a Harris bipod already, so I could in theory,...fit a rail, a quick release for the bipod, Jimmy may have a stud fitting that will fit the rail for my sling to go behind the bipod......may be the ultimate solution. I will say £15 posted. I will be putting together few sets once the length of rail arrives and then list them. I will have one anyway, will be handy on something.
  10. Not quite sure how that works, hardwood cuttings, done between Autumn and Spring-remove large leaves and shoots, my hardwoods don't have leaves or shoots between Autumn and Spring. I have a large hazel tree in my garden, so have been following this with interest as would love to plant some more around the farm from it if possible.
  11. Ha, I may look like a donkey............. I don't use the bipod for night shooting, that's when I really need a sling, but I want the option of putting the bipod on during the day, I just hate all the faff of fitting stuff and taking it off again, quick release has to be the way forward, the cricket is a blank canvas at the mo so want to get it right first time before drilling the stock.

  13. Hey jimmy, as always, a real king offer from you, what fitting is the one with stud ? Is it a piccatanny ?
  14. I thought about that, but I don't always want a bipod but need the slingwell when you dont want bipod the stud is still going to be there to take a sling Not if I used a piccatanny mount quick release bipod, I think I would need to add an extra stud.
  15. Hey kanny, my Mrs needs a cheap run around, this will suit her ideal. Where are you, what engine do these have (for tax/insurance purposes). To confirm, it's the front leading edge of the bonnet that's bubbled ? You seem confident it's mechanically sound, no qualms about it going through its next mot ? Need something for 5 or 6 months.
  16. I thought about that, but I don't always want a bipod but need the sling
  17. Any of you guys fitted an extra rail to your rifle ? I want to add a sling and a bipod to my cricket, but it's seriously lacking rail space, I was thinking.....get a short rail underneath at the front of the stock so I can fit a bipod to it, and possibly a second stud so I can get my sling on permanently. Most of my shooting is either walking with a Nv, a spotter or thermal, hence wanting a sling. driving with a lamp, hence wanting nothing. Or bench rested target shooting, hence wanting a bipod. I am thinking a quick release bipod, fitted to a short rail, extra stud for a sling.
  18. Those faps look good, they often impress me in many different guns, a very under rated pellet by folk. Be interesting to see what it groups like at range.
  19. Tell me more about the extreme .25 Phil, may be worth me trying them in the cricket.
  20. We was out ferreting a few year ago and put one out of a set, feck me it was fast, and bloody angry, you wouldn't want to be fookin around with one, was a good size, and looked in tip top condition, first off I thought it was just a ferret.
  21. Sounds good in theory, I always questioned why they didn't fit a better ir on the earlier models as it really lets them down, I look forward to them coming on the market.
  22. Sounds like a trap to see how often she cleans under the sofa
  23. How will it differ to the likes of the n550 etc
