  1. I found an unsealed (opened) old tin of pellets in my workshop not long ago, I would guess they had been in there around ten years (educated guess as I bought them for a specific rifle and have a good idea when I sold it). They looked very dark, and had a very few tiny white spots on the top layer, I gave them a rinse and they looked as good as new, just a slightly darker shade, now bearing in mind the workshop they are in is a pretty damp affair, I think they stored pretty well considering.
  2. They are both very accurate guns, I don't think you can choose anything between them accuracy wise I also prefer the kt, so good choice, try and have a test with one that has the a&m cylinder fitted, these feel even better in my opinion.
  3. I had both the full length shorter and the it, I still have the kt, but will be selling it soon due to lack of use, the full length just felt unbalanced for me. So I fitted the a@m cylinder to my kt for higher shot count and much much much better balance (did I mention it's a lot better than the standard cylinder ?). For me it would be the carbine each and every time.
  4. You must have a very good regal if it can do that How old is it by the way? It must be 2 year old now I guess, I have had it maybe 6 months, I got it from a mate, that's the only reason I bought it as I had seen how it shot with him, it's changed the way I think about daystate, that's how good it is.........
  5. Just to throw a spanner in the works, I have a daystate regal, it's been the most reliable gun after my r10, it's my second most accurate gun, after my r10, both those two guns are factory standard and never been touched, they shoot like they have been tuned, I managed to get two good ones I guess. The regal DOES put pellet on pellet at 40 yards, EVERY time I take it out without fail, I have full confidence in it whenever I pick it up out the cabinet, I couldn't be happier with any gun, if I get a pellet outside a 5p group I know it's either me, conditions or a bad pellet, I have possibly
  6. Be the cheapest rapid you will see for a while............
  7. Get your Nv back on and go shooting, were mainly a bunch of armchair hunters ! Seriously, I wouldn't be giving up the Nv gear, nowt stopping you doing both, I find daylight shooting a good waste of time, much prefer the Nv shooting, far more productive.
  8. Really is a shame it's been polished up, I would have been interested if it wasn't for that.
  9. Seems we're all looking for one then !
  10. Tell me about it, I thought they would have both sold easy, seems no one is interested.
  11. No that's not the way, if you want a fall on the finished slab then you put the fall on the sub base.
  12. You will need 0.9 m3 To mix a c20 mix you will need 288kg cement 1620kg ballast 270 litres of water So on the quantities you have given, more than enough ballast, but slightly short on cement, depending how good your sub base is I wouldn't worry about it and use the 11 bags
  13. Excellent news, hope you enjoy the impact and I look forward to reading the results of some proper serious testing now.
  14. It actually sounds more like a fertility problem, have you checked during the first 12 days looking for embryo developing ? A week old is fine, big end up is good, what temp are you storing the eggs at before they go in. I presume the ones that hatch are hatching on the right day, humidity generally kills the chick, unless it's way way out the embryo would still begin to develop, if most are hatching fine then it's highly unlikely it's a humidity or temperature problem, as before it sounds like poor fertility. When you say your eggs are at 38.2, I presume you mean your incubator is
  15. Those fields look like they are doing the job, am watching this space to see how things go at range.
  16. Cheers, get the pics over as he is interested
  17. I know someone who is looking for exactly this, can you send photos, what's the condition like and does it have any problems ?
  18. As above, I wouldn't waste money on anything other than a few decent size timbers or blocks to get it up off the floor.
  19. Nelly, yet again your posting absolute drivel ! 'For those of you who enjoy weapons a little to much'. There is no such thing as enjoying them a little too much ! , ! , ! , Some nice tools though, off to fetch my tissues ?
  20. Bargain, those drinkers are getting on for £30 alone, and with a free beretta it's a good deal
