  1. I have the second option with a t20, works well for me, but yes it does have a small amount of play, doesn't seem to bother it much though.
  2. Excellent cos I just picked one up, with bobs doubler, ep5 battery pack, torch, mounts and chargers, batteries, case, odds and sods, 500 delivered
  3. I looked at an 06 couple weeks back, it was mint, 76k on it, with truck an top, full service history, and new mot, he was asking 5750

    T20

Thanks, but I think yours may be the wrong one, looking for ir to use on my nv, not red

    T20

Have you still got this ? If so what batteries does it take ?
  6. Is this the ir or just red light ? Cheers, Rob.
  7. Jesus Moxy, I would be wanting to bust the cnuts door down shortly followed by his face, that is bang out of order. Sometimes I feel these folk are just trying to do a job and earn money, better than scrounging benefits every week, even though I agree it can be annoying, with the TPS it needs updating, I do mine once a year, they clear all data and the new start date means anyone who has got the number cannot call it after that date, unless you fill out anything online afterwards and put your number, I rarely get calls doing it this way
  8. I would be more worried that he shot it at 1-30 in the morning, what was he doing stalking deer at that time ?
  9. It is a bargain, I broke a non runner of mine and made well over a grand off fleabay, go for it, you cannot loose money at that price, and once on the road they are a great truck, just keep the speed down or tow a diesel bowser behind you
  10. I just can't get on with the screens, how much you looking for on the 550 as my mate wants one after using mine !
  11. I had a pulsar add on unit, nifty onto the back of the scope in seconds, it worked, but I found the shooting position unconventional for me, head was way too far back, so that meant moving scope as far forward as possible every time I. Wanted to use it and move it back for daytime use, ended up been far too much hassle for me, I also found my scope was supposedly not great for an add on unit, it all got too much so rather than mess around I went out and bought a pulsar n550 day and night scope, then I got another rifle to keep it as a dedicated night gun, liked it so much I got the n750 as well
  12. Enjoyed that read Rich, could picture every part of it, well done
  13. Is the lady is still looking Coventry is within easy reach for me and my buddy, we are generally out two or three times a week, every week, not just occasionally, air, ferrets and long nets, if this sounds reasonable feel free to drop me a pm and I will happily help out. Regards, Rob.
  14. No idea at the mo mate, its a full runner with no problems other than typical work tranny related bodywork, if you want to pm me we can have a chat about it, I will only be after sensible money for it, not silly high prices.......
  15. I will have the dessert shirt please.
  16. I have an 04 crew cab tipper that I am selling in the first few weeks of jan
  17. Bf Goodrich, they don't half give some mileage as well as perform good on and off road with no camber chase or road noise
  18. Not cold enough yet bud, I only ever shoot the rape when frosts or preferably snow on the ground, too much food widespread for them at the mo. I also reckon the numbers are not like they used to be as well.
  19. That's pretty much how I have always thought Rich, and I had a single cab hilux many years back when I was doing forestry, that thing didn't have a straight panel when I finished, but it just kept going and going, hence its my preference for the next one.
  20. Yes mate, you can say that again, it is also the biggest set I have ever worked, one set, took four of us all day to net and work, it was a red letter day I shall not forget, gotta be honest, it nearly killed me, I slept well that night ! It was on some parkland I used to work, and the whole place was alive, we ferreted it every Sunday for around ten years, I think our worst day was about 14 and that was because we spent most of the day laid up on a bank with a bloody deep set, only had 8 foot knockers and we kept loosing signal. I also remember pulling 6 out of a single hole one day ! Some ve
  21. This. I make a 'nick' in the fur and get my fingers in. Then I only need a knife for removing it's head. Then same nick again; tear open belly; and gut. Simples. Practically no knife used. That's ok until you need to do 50 plus rabbits then you will need a good knife ... Oh and you don't need a knife to take the head off .......... My best Sunday, 173 rabbits, all cleaned by me just how I describe, I will fess up though, my knives are always razor sharp when I go out, not always when I come back though.........,,,,agree with the head comment, I twist and pull
  22. Really pleased for you mate, just take it easy and let nature take its course, worked for me, may be worth keeping a few rimadyl handy as they really helped my old girl
  23. Can you post any pics of it, or email, and would you look at sale rather than swap ?
  24. Another thing some do wrong, is trying to cut from the outside, you need an incision, then run the knife down under the skin and cut in an outwards direction if that makes sense, that way you are cutting skin first then through the fur, very similiar as a deer gralloch but on a much smaller scale (check the videos available)but agreed the knife needs to be sharp, and I find a good point really helps to make the first incision, after that pretty much any knife will do the job.
