  1. I can't see the drainage, how much was it out ?
  2. Another way is latex self levelling compound, but that will only take a few mm out at a time, and it would need to have the rough sort of falls right as it would cost a fortune to change the falls with the stuff, if its miles out I would go for the tile option mate.

Don't think your pawn shop are on the ball, gold has been going into circuitry for years
  4. I have some Oxford game, but no spangled left now.

No not a great time, may be 25% down to the last high, but that was an exceptional moment, so in reality its nearer back to where it usually sits, better times to buy than now, however the advice to hang onto it is right, it will certainly rise again.
  6. With the Nutella, warm it up in hot water, mix it 50/50 with veg oil, stir in well so its real runny, then pour it around your bait station, don't put a bowl full out as when it cools its also hardens and gives them lumps they can run off with, if spread about they need to lick at it and sit on the spot better, same principle with any chocolate, peanut butter, jam on a slice of bread also works,
  7. Explain nicely to her your dogs have a delicate digestion, and by giving them random tit bits or treats she could be causing more harm, point out she could actually be killing your dogs ! Shock is the best tactic I find, failing that, she is trespassing, a quiet word from pic plod should send the message, last resort, live rats through her letter box as she likes animals so much........
  8. I am looking at Brittany, from st Malo and westwards within one hour of the coast as not only the shooting, but I have my own boat and am an avid sea fisher as well, so quite a few points I need to consider, I am in discussion about a propert just outside huelgoat at present, but the owner seems very slow responding to anything, so I am still looking at other options.
  9. Thanks Coypu, your threads make interesting reading for me, the place I am looking at does not have any water unfortunatly, I really wanted either a pond or lake (not just for the coypu shooting) but they are mostly out of budget, so the plan is to start off small and keep looking for the perfect place.
  10. Are they only attracted to water, as they do seem to be a water based pest, if I don't have water on my land is it unlikely I would encounter them ?
  11. Thanks for that, a few points I agree with. The focus is not smooth or easy to turn, but I always adjust with my right hand and don't feel the need to reach forward (not uncomfortably), I also think his scope must have been poor, when focused my image is a lot, and I do mean a lot better than either of the ones he was showing, however I do find the need to keep adjusting the focus constantly to keep a good picture, even a few yards in range can throw the pic out quite severely. I am grateful for that, as I am going to have a play with some cards now, for ratting its a right pain adjusting foc
  12. I would have liked it, but a house move means tightening the belt for a while so I must cut back on knives I have been buying ! What's the advantage of the 80crv2 steel, as I understand it is very strong ?
  13. Prob a bit pricey for anyone in the trade mate, I am paying £26 a sheet.
  14. No catch, so long as you can show a French address and some ID. Most of France is rural, and pretty much all farmers and many other rural people shoot. Some even have gun licences! Some even have gun licences.....that cracked me up, bit like days of old here, from research, seems the best way forward is when I have an address is to join a gun club, and I would need to do the test at some point as I would not be happy shooting targets for the rest of my days ! I am starting to piece everything together now, the lack of game (rabbits and hares) and the easy to get licence, along with nearly
  15. I have a crew cab tipper that's gonna be for sale !
  16. Whereabouts in Brittany? I have several options we are looking at, but the favourite one so far is near huelgoat, I am looking to the north for my sea fishing and ease of travelling, but early stages so would actually consider other options. Nice area, but a bit far west, unless you're planning to travel from Brest. We're closer to St Malo, which is handy for trips back to southern UK. The st malo area was my original first choice, as you say travelling back and forth it is ideal, however the right property (and price) was not available when I found the one I am looking at now, Brest see

  19. Excellent information coypu hunter, I am currently researching French laws as looking at a property in Brittany.
  20. It's the bigger ones I am interested in, pm if you make any more the size I have already had please.
  21. That is very nice indeed pal, very very nice, thanks for sharing
  22. Ah, I was wondering why the amount of adverts had dropped to next to none, I presumed every one was busy with this Christmas thing.
  23. Thanks for the replies......I have managed to answer a couple of my own questions, so thought I would share, the external battery gives over 15 hours use (so far) I ditched the aa's for this test and glad I did. The t20 seems to give a much crisper image than the pulsar 940, and the ranges are much improved. Still working out the benefits of the doubler
  24. Isn't the t20 better IR than n800 ? Yes I think so, I have a t20 on one of mine and the 800 on another, much prefer the clarity of the t20
