A good working lurcher is an investment,..so there is no hurry to be doing too much,.. of anything...
Personaly,..I would allow the dog as much freedom to run and play, as is safe to do so,..and concentrate 100% on socialisation, socialisation,.socialisation.....
This is an all important attribute, in the 21st Century,.lots of things for a raw boned youngster to take in, understand,..appreciate and hopefully not be fearful of...Once a young canine feels comfortable and secure with everything around him,.the actual schooling bit,..ain't rocket science...so,.just get yourself out and about,
