  1. Cracker Dai, though i think it should be in the 'fave pic' thred..?
  2. Wirhout distracting from the subject and though i agree with most of your post Mary, i've seen and owned some first cross bull bloods that were mustard on rabbits. Hares i'd say are a different thing but not bunnies.
  3. Best test for a lurcher... Well, no good saying a fallow buck to someone with a 19" whippet cross, nor a January hare on the fenns for the 'squarer type' bull cross... horses for courses here...! Just simply getting it out and behind gear imo. Because whatever your lurcher type, or whatever the chosen quarry, each and every time out is a dogs best test...

    Honeymoon

Love Florida too and if it was me, i'd head there BUT there is too much to do an see for it to be a honeymoon destination. With lots of travelling to get round. Though if i were gonna head there, i'd be asking our American friends on here about a spot of big critter hunting with them good 'ol boys. Someone on here may even know Gary Hosker, who is/was living and hunting there...??

    Honeymoon

Done some great sport fishing in Cancun. Though choose your hotel wisely. Whilst some are very good, some are very average. Lot of American youngsters let loose for spring break etc, so pick your time of year. Also lots of hotels are getting more family based, so if you've got no kids (yet!) And you dont want to see hoards of em, maybe go adults only.
  6. Bull greyhound first cross, or line bred first cross. Pre ban it was all the dog i ever needed.
  7. By my way of reconing, and though i bet there are some good dogs of this type about, just by their very name and the dogs in the mix, they were created by dreamers for dreamers to buy.
  8. Would that town start with an h?? Yup...
  9. I've heard of a town north of the border where folk have bred the arse out of em, almost every other dog is one and they roam the streets...
  10. See D.Lloyd off here, he has the new cordless, built in battery ones, in a word, superb..!!
  11. Same as DB with my old dog about 5 years ago. We took a chance and it paid off, for a few years till the next trauma. Thing is, at that time the vet in North Wales was the cheapest around but sadly he's retired and if the same happened i'd be stung for thousands on 'a chance', so for me it'd be no chance and i'd call it quits right there...

    Vikings

I was gonna watch it but i heard there aint much tit in it... Swords and tits are a quality watch imo, so i went with Spartacus and G.O.T but that got serilised as it became more popular...
  13. i may have copied and pasted elsewhere Good stuff...
  14. Dunno about best fallow dogs but there's a crackin fallow field by mine that is known to hold a critter or two.
  15. Then i've dropped a bollock by not reading it all through before signing... Personally, i dont give the slightest flying feck about halal slaughter, which i've never believed has any significance to the ban on hunting. In fact it was Dai Harcolmbs rants on the subject that stopped my subscription to EDRD..! Lesson learned here!
  16. I thought it was that old joke, where the answer is 5 pints...!
  17. cheers ill have a blits typ 240 lamp soon at a lot less money but ill put them thro it first if they no good i wount offer themCrackin stuff Dai, if you put them up i'll have one of these too..!
  18. Kenny not so good John? I have heard Tom Peppercorn can be found in the North West but those that use him seem keep his number close...
  19. Yep, i'd do as has been said, i'd take straws and give yourself a much bigger time frame. It'd also allow you to give the dog as much graft as you want, without the worry of loosing him. The value of keeping sound bitches must never be underestimated when trying to keep a family or line of dogs and i know this from first hand expierience. Best of luck with your quest Morton.
  20. when there is any else in the cross but bull and sighthound. Bullxgrey/salukixgrey at a push id say is a bullx but a bullxgrey/colliexgrey has bull in it. Not a bullxA bull cross is bull blood and greyhound blood to me. Saluki bull grey or whippet bull grey is a lurcher. Don't suppose it matters what you call them if they work. Lol i agree with u gaz. But now looking at what he said, saluki is sighthound too. So I suppose it could be looked as a bull x.Yeh maybe so matey. will u all stop agreeing with each other. ! That's not how t.h.l works !!I just want a quiet life these days. Im 27 now,
