  1. Some local coucils are working with organisations, like the dogs trust, and have organised a free chipping day to get the ball rolling.
  2. As Gaz just said, wait a bit. There will be plenty knockin about soon enough. When i breed mine you'd be welcome to em.
  3. Think he cashed in about 7 points ago... Shithouse..!! lol
  4. ferret peddler lol should have at least 4 years hard graft and be single handed gonna be chilling ,do a bit of camping ,and getting some weight on my younger dog ,and getting him good shape for next season They are sable angoras, the older having a tiger striped tail and green eyes. Bought for their working ability, it's not my fault they are this seasons must have..!
  5. Like Jeppi, keep the dogs in decent nick. This year i'm gonna get a litter out of each of my ferrets. Be the first time, ones three the other two, so... If the big dog finally goes then the search will be on for a spaniel x terrier pup.
  6. Love all this good beef stuff, because the very crux of all meat as food is simply the way its cooked. A decent cook can make a cheap cut taste wonderful and a shite cook can make the best of beef fecking awful..!
  7. I drink a LOT of water... but whilst camping in paradise valley in Morocco we found a natural spring... the taste of the water was unbelievable... it was like drinking some kind of tonic, its hard to explainI'm in heaven when we go to Portugal for our jollies each year. We go north, near the Caremulo, all mountains.Where the village water supply flows direct out of the rocks, to be collected from the little fountain they have and each and every villager produces their own wine, port and potato spirt. A village where they try to get your approval of their wine by supplying it to you by the fla

  9. Well played Greenman. Our village is plagued by fly tippers and litter droppers. Everything from household to pot crops get dumped in the ditches that surround us. Even rank butchers offel by the bin load. A couple of us get out most weeks to get it out the ditches and on the road, as the council wont touch it unless its touching tarmac, not even on the grass verges!
  10. I watched it earlier, he'd have done better tailing those Sealyhams and battering the rats with em! They did look piss poor ratters and i'm sure folk are right that he sell's em for a pretty penny too, he didn't look like he was struggling BUT so fecking what... For a promotion tool it was fecking priceless. The best thing done for hunting in years and him and his dogs deserve a pat on the back and a well done in the ear. The film makers deserve a medal and the CA better hunt em down and use em again in this light.
  11. Water... honest! But if were talking alcohol then red wine is top of the list. Cask ale running in second and wurzle juice at third. Last place would be wiskey, the smell of it makes me wanna puke..!
  12. I didn't see the programme last night but i'll view it back on the iplayer. No matter what the make of man, or the caliber of his terriers, a little bit of hunting was shown in a positive light. Some documentary maker out there said feck off to this sterilised countryfile bollocks tv and made the type of programme we last seen years ago. Our hunting governing bodies would do well to suss out this type of filmmaker and get him to do more. All we ever do is preach to the converted... It's the masses that need to see the benifits of hunting, not the fecking hunters...!
  13. Hawthorn, it does shed in winter but keep it well maintained (clipped) and it will grow very tight. Hellish stuff to get through too..!
  14. Think my Grandad called em Condies Chrystals...??
  15. Spot on, really works a treat on ears Think it can be used to make your Hydraingers blue too..?
  16. You do realise that thing on his head ain't a comb over but a bullet proof shield that can be dropped to protect him at an instant..
  17. Following the ratters on Sefton tip in the 70's.
  18. Can't better that, well put Tomo.
  19. Save yourself a few bob and the worry and simply stay at home...
