    Thanks Brookie

    Well played Brookie
  2. A very talented lady, who i always thought was a bit taisty too.. Sad news
  3. The biggest problem with shock collars is the clueless, cruel bellends that wouldn't have a clue how to use one correctly. So on a public forum i'd never advocate the use of them before either training or studdying on how to use them.
  4. A nice way to spend a last day together...
  5. Happy birthday Alex, enjoy your day mate!
  6. Just watched 5 mins of bellends... i'm switching off...
  7. Is using a dropper any worse than entering a coursing pup on a September stubble hare , or a bull x , doubled up on a fox ,the key to any lurcher is not over matching it as a pup ,,,,,as for geeing up ,,I once had a greyhound that never hit the lids , but finished fast , we took him out on the lamp one night , the night before a race , never slipped him just let him see quarry running , he was howling with excitement .............he smashed the lids , led all the way , backed from 4/1 into 2/1 ,,,,no animal is the same as the next one , some need different methods to get to the bottom of them
  8. I've been away for a bit and missed this one BUT i'd need hard fact before i'd be shouting from the rafters, film can be doctored any way you want it these days.. My question would be why the feck would any hunt be so bloody stupid and i very much doubt any would... Oh yer, whilst we are on the subject of live bait, droppers etc.... I've never done it, ever. If you need to use those sort of tactics to bring a dog on or gee it up in any way, then take a long hard look at yourself and the bin licking feckers you keep. Your hunting dog, be it hound, terrier, sighthound or lurcher, will hav
  9. There's a bull x coursing dog next door to me. Nice lookin thing and has stamina to burn but its only a house pet that has killed a bit of gear accidental. Though in the right hands it could have been real handy. One thing about this cross is that yhey should throw lighter build than a greyhound cross.
  10. I can only echo what the others said, lovely pics there Gaz and a crackin suit too..!
  11. Think i've just bought it...
  12. Cracker there Jai, best of luck with her.
  13. Gutted i'm gonna have to miss this one through work. I hope the day goes well for all.
  14. He's a grade A listed Bellend...
  15. I like chiminea's BUT you've got to find a big un.
  16. Looks like the Russians have just gone apeshit in the stadium...
  17. Just a classic case of not taking your chances, a goal or two in the first half would have sealed it but i thought we played well enough apart from our finishes. The only weak link for me was Sterling... Shite! Rooney i thought was inspired in midfield and its not a problem for me that he didn't bring Vardy on. If Lallana, Cain or Rooney had have scored in open play i think it would have made a difference in confidence.
  18. The older i get the more i know that there is no such thing as 'bad feet', not in looks anyway! Feet come in all shapes and types due to the different crosses that are in our dogs. Some of the best dogs can have feet that damage easily and some of them started off with perfect toes, its a pain when thats the case but if your dogs that good what ya gonna do... And then there's the ones that feck up because they usually have an unfit dog attached to em... No excuses there!!!
  19. Sure a collar can get caught up in a hedge but the chances of sommat fatal are slim. Dont forget how tough a dogs neck can be and how a sensible, seasoned mutt will adjust speed as it approaches and goes in on hedges. More chance of it loosing an eye or breaking its neck with a full on blow, both of which has happened to my dogs. Never had a hedge collar snagg. I've seen those gypsy slips a few times mate, they are a crackin, little used gem. Never learned how to do it though.
  20. What sort of year and model you looking at Bosun? You heard much about their reliability and repair costs? I've looked at the Mazda 6 Estate myself, the 2.2 top spec, you got a lot of toys for your money. Leather, Sat Nav, Bluetooth you name it. And at 170 horses should have a bit of poke. I just haven't heard much about them, good or bad. Looking for a 61 or less Gaz, a 2.2 TD, full speck would be the ideal as i want to get over to the continent. As far as reliability goes, from what i gather its no different than a Ford, which it really is. But as i said earlier, you get a lot of car f
  21. No no no no.... Dont anybody get a Mazda6, they are shite, i was talking bollocks earlier in the thred... deluded, thats it! Take it from me, steer well clear of them Mazda 6's... (Till i get mine!!)
  22. Yep, gut for me too. Better to go with that than spending years wondering what if... Whatever decision you make, make it and never look back. I know you know but put all your efforts into your choice and feck whatever else anyone has or does with their pups. "Thou shalt not covert thy neighbours mutt"...
