When I had my 410 the best cartridges I used were fiocchi, the normal ones the local shops sold rattled like maracas and some had next to nowt in them.

I know but if you all had a try fir a couple of trips and put them somewhere rough that can't be ferreted they might have a chance. I've seen lads here going on somewhere because they saw 1 rabbit and knew where it went in and when I was trying to explain that if you kill the last 1 or 2 they have no chance of ever recovering it fell on deaf ears.

I've said to other lads from round yours who travel to get rabbits why don't you bring some back and try and boost their numbers?

Same round here but unfortunately it will drag all the lads back out and do them all in before they can properly recover. Sensible harvesting is needed not eradication.

I've said it before but I bet some of them feral ferret colonies on the islands off Scotland have got some good working blood in them from before the show and pet breeders had started.

Like socks said they do eat the steel off a knife but for giving a cheap and cheerful knife like an opinel a quick edge they do the job. Opinel do a chef knife too I've just seen on google and if you can't get an opinel sharp there's something wrong with you.

Some of these so called eu and hybrids that people are breeding now that are tame as anything I would always question how genuine the wild blood was. The couple I've seen in the flesh were iffy odd behaving buggers that never settled.

Did they have all the urban deer and foxes back in the olden days Katchum? I don't remember street dogs round here when I was a kid but I remember getting the shit scared out of me by a pack of mongrels in Manchester while visiting my auntie all black and tan of all shapes and sizes.
