  2. Them big livestock guardian breeds aren't needed either over here, one got out locally and went biting people and it's only a matter of time before one of them kills someone.

  6. Fresh corn off the plant into the pan is lovely, much better than the stuff that's been sat round in the shop.
  7. Mine get eggs now and again, usually quail or pigeon eggs with the shells dropped straight into their bowls.

  10. Its weird how they just seemed to vanish isn't it. I've said on here before about the heeler my mates nan had but it was the fastest thing for its size I've ever seen and hunted like a natural from the first time we took it out. It was also a snappy little shit that got you as you left.
  11. All the old dears round here had them or bow legged jacks when I was a kid and they were all snappy little b*****ds. I think they call them ormskirk heelers now and they are a rare breed.

  18. I had the same here recently with a bloke walking a Glen of imaal who was shocked I knew what it was.
  19. Carbolic soap and diatomaceous earth are meant to do the same thing too mate but I found they didn't work. Since using frontline I've had my best seasons for being relatively mite free.
