Its the top of the shoulder not the armpit but that can be hard with young birds too. I could have sorted you out before Christmas but I won't have any now till autumn

You get cock birds with poor blazes and hens with good blazes justbto throw a spanner in the works,I find the black hairs around the beak a better indicator. Cheverals have a white line through the mask completely under the chin and if it doesn't go all the way through its a pea throat. Both are indicators of being a pied bird and "could" increase your chances of breeding pied or clear mules.

I'm putting 2 pairs of goldies down this year and they are together at the moment bonding in 4ft double breeders. I'm tempted to try them in these cages but there is 2 empty aviaries waiting for them outside.

I'm not too experienced but I leave mine together, I've seen allsorts over the years about splitting pairs of all species but I've never bothered. Do they split into single sexed groups over the winter in the wild?

They can be as fast as you want they aren't catching and killing 8 + fit wild coyotes scattering all over the place running for their lives are they.

Would coyotes hang around to get killed by a big slow dog that couldn't catch one running after watching it kill one or two of their pack? He's saying they found a trail of dead coyotes.

I've had a go at treating this decathlon jacket with the spray tonight, not worn it out in heavy rain yet to test it properly but the water I chucked on it came off faster than it went on so looks good so far.

1x250ml Repel by Diver Dave Water repellent spray, waders, horse rugs, fabric WWW.EBAY.CO.UK It works well on fishing flies, it was not designed for this but appears to work on all but CDC - no idea why! It was never... Just ordered myself some tonight so I'll see how it works on my decathlon shooting coat when it arrives.
