  4. Mines outside trying to get the rabbit out the ferret cage the mad little fecker. Stubby how come them russels are wearing S&M gear?
  5. Very, very unlike you..........your normally so good tempered I thought it was unusual for such a mild mannered chap too Cya sunday messer
  6. Is fish that good? I'd be worried about it not working and maybe putting them off and the trap would stink of fish for ages making it useless but if it works I might try it. Cheers, gnipper
  7. What would you say was the best bait then? Its not a town fox i'm after and its used to dining on pheasants but doesn't seem too interested in them in the trap so i'm after something a bit more appealing to the b*****d. I've chucked a few pigeons in it earlier and scattered feathers around to catch its attention so fingers crossed but is there anything thats a dead cert? Cheers, gnipper
  8. I've heard he's a handsome b*****d too and comes on here too I've got small ferrets but i'm a long way from you.
  9. When my old border passes away i'm getting a tattoo of him done, said that for the past 10 years now. He's my first dog and we showed each other the ropes.
  10. They look very nice mate but the substrates could do with being at least 4" deep to allow for burrowing and also a bit of moisture to help them with their moulting. Also they aren't exactly fond of the light so i'd switch that off. The crickets/locusts can avoid the T for a good while too with all the climbing frames you've given them as both those spiders are terrestrial and unlikely to chase their prey like some of the arboreals do. The tanks woud be ideal for something arboreal too imo like a Indian Ornamental or Sun Tiger (Psalmopeus irminia) Good luck with your spiders mate.
  11. I've only ever found rabbit skins and bones from a fox on top of the ground but find plenty of pheasant and partridge buried. Cock phessies are easiest to find with their tails sticking up like flags
  12. It does it while its out rabbiting so its nothing to do with hormones, doing it at home when normally it hasn't then that could be linked to hormones.
  13. I had a hob who was soft as shit at home but when he was working was more than a bit unpredictable, my mate saved him from me putting a stop to it and reckoned he could stop it but he's still the same
  14. Do??? Lamping match or fight or what?
  15. Weekend should be ok but i'd have to come and show you and unlock the gates. The traps are still sat there where I put them when I dug them out mate. Saturday morning ok for you? I'll be working but thats where the logs are, a few hundred big ish trees so you'll need to cut the heads and roots off which will leave you with a 6 or 7ft log.
  16. Get yourself a chainsaw and trailer and a day off quick if you want a shit load of logs before they get burnt mate
  17. Teeth normally 5 months and the seaon is usually anything over 9 months.
  18. Do these dogs not live in Wales? They look like a pair round here that a lad I know owns thats all. Look good anyway mate Heres my pup with a dead fox, first he's ever seen Cheers, gnipper
  19. I need somewhere with loads too, think i'm gonna start knocking on some chicken farms etc and hope but for now the ones in the game crops and ditches will have to do. Watching the ratting dvd's before and the amount on some of them places is unbelievable
  20. I've seen a few bad gordon setters too, show breeding rather than temperament and working ability probably to blame.
  21. The pups had his rest now and is back to his mad self and eating a full chicken carcase He still hasn't swollen from the bites either, my other dogs used to swell up when they were young and learning the ropes until they got used to it but this one you wouldn't even know he'd been bit. I'll try and find somewhere better for next week mate. If I end up off work with my back we'll go knocking on some pig or chicken farms
  22. I'll do it if you want for a bog standard terrier collar Gnipper
