Mines not too bad, she has a moan sometimes but I try not to take the piss being out all the time so I can spend time with my little girl. My daughters 4 and she's been ferreting and eaten most game, the missus has tried all game but isn't keen but that's fair enough at least she tried it.

I've got a linnet in with 2 canary hens and a goldie in with 2 hens to over winter together, no cock canary or hen finches either so they have no choice. If they don't do the biz that way I can get a canary cock back and try with him in view of the hens.

Does it really f****n matter if there isn't crusty food stuck to them? If you couldn't see that it wouldn't make you ill or bother you either. How many people that get flustered about shit like this will also let the dogs lick their face or handle dogs/quarry etc without alcohol gelling their hands immediately afterwards? Theres lads at my work who throw half a butty away every day because they have touched it with their dirty hands and then straight after eat a pack of crisps and lick the salt and flavouring off their fingers

The older stag from the first batch is here to stay I think, really long legged bonny bird and he's just starting to tread the hens so I might rehome the old boy. All the cocks out of the youngsters pictured are getting necked if nobody wants them, i've done 6 so far

Some people say they can sex by looking at the vent and theres a shop by me that use a magnet on a string and i have to say thats been 100% accurate so far. I would split them on their own one at a time where they can see the others and wait and see if they sing or not or get a canary singing mp3 on your phone and see if any of them reply to it. I did that in a local pet shop and a few of the mute little buggers started singing their heads off.

Is it true that Typp Ratcher puts Greyhound dogs over Border Collie bitches I told that by a few people how true it is I not know i.ve seen one of his dogs it was 19 inches tall The mother of my bitch was from Typp Ratcher lines and was quite famous, she was 3/4 collie 1/4 grey. She stood about 19" and took over 100 big rabbits in her life time. A good few watched her work and were astounded by her all round ability. did it look abit like the one in my pic ?? Yes.

The ferrets are eating well at the moment, I can't believe how many turned out cockerels. If anyone wants a couple of young cockerels let me know before they get turned into ferret shite like their brothers. Cheers

Domesticated they may be but feral youngsters out of them would not be and there's no way they'd let you near them to pick them up, only their colours would show their ancestry. Same as with feral moggys, pigeons and ferrets etc. The wild boar in this country were 'domestic' as they were in captivity getting fed and watered but as soon as they get out instinct kicks in.

Thats a bloody good find that mate. A few years back now I found a live grenade from the war on a field at work which was detonated and did go off. That had been ploughed and rotovated loads of times, imagine that going off just behind your arse on a tractor

Hardly fecking sporting catching a bloody guinea pig is it I'd get pine martins on the go, not for hunting just everywhere where there are grey squirrels to try and get a bit of a balance going because the little b*****ds are obviously here to stay now.

Out of interest did the other two dogs get the squits? Mine get meat and bones regularly (not every day atm) and my cousin feeds them his dogs as a treat, my dogs digest the lot and do small firm stools and his tyrolean the yard.

Take a look at the difference between a traditional Shar Pei and the messed with wrinkly type on this thread. I'm sure Al won't mind: http://www.thehuntin...c/198303-mutts/ I can't stand any of the pure breeds with mega over exaggerated features, and I really detest the breeders who try to insist that the exaggerated features are a result of form following function.. the one on the right is a nice looking dog, don't like the one on the left at all though! They might both have a few more wrinkles if they weren't fat though?

Fat useless dogs with moronic owners that look at you funny coz your dogs are fit, normally seen in the park kicking off on other dogs or in the vets fecking barking. Last time I was at the vets some woman was getting a little staff weighed that was nearly twice the weight of my lurcher and then the roly poly family turned up lifting their bulldogs in and out of the car. Any dog which is out of breath from a 10 yard walk and/or can't jump into a car needs to be put out of its misery.

Them boerboels are scary feckers but I would say anything of that size is OTT, unless someone is hell bent on stealing something valuable you have or intent on doing you harm then pretty much any dog is a deterrent. When a dog kicks off barking it makes it very uncomfortable for the thieving scum who normally beat a hasty retreat. Next door to us have had the garden furniture pinched and an attempted break in within the last year but so far my russel seems to be doing the trick at protecting ours. No dog is bullet proof or immune to poison.

I can trust mine with ferrets (the only thing I can trust him not to do), I wouldn't say 100% but then I wouldn't say that about any dog because accidents can happen when the bloods up. The ferret cage was in his pen when he was a pup and he's never showed intent but he goes mad trying to get the rabbits they are eating.
