  1. Don't try and force yourself on her let her come to you, when she's hungry sit on the floor with some tit bits and let her come to you and give her a few at a time and try stroking her inbetween. When I got mine the only person he would go near was my 2 year old girl and it drove me mental but I got there in the end.
  2. Try putting prices on them.
  3. Is he just driving round with you or do you take him out in the car to walk him somewhere? Mine was quite bad but once he realised the car took him to places he enjoyed he stopped getting ill and now gets excited. Now the little shit just whines till he gets there I remember a few people saying giving them a ginger biscuit before you go stops them being ill???
  4. You need to change your time settings in your control panel and I think the posts not bringing the thread to the top is to stop all the mongs who dig up ancient threads asking if its still for sale or are there any pups left, would you swap one for a terrier i've just got yesterday or a packet of jelly tots etc etc
  5. Look like slug eggs to me mate, woodlice carry their young around underneath them between their legs when they are tiny. Was the log touching the ground to get moisture into it?
  6. My old one was from before they had the pin pointer and that had the magnet in it just didn't have the arrow at the bottom saying that it did have. If you've got one try it and see.
  7. One of mine was straight away and the other was 2 or 3 days.
  8. You can tell from the moment their born what sex they are, hobs still only have one hole no matter what age they are
  9. My mate who has the magnetic collars reckons they play up if switched on/off with the box and work better if done with they keyring thing?? The older mk3 boxes that don't say they have a magnet in them do have a magnet that can be used to switch collars on and off the same way so did they rush it out (like the crap mk2) knowing they were gonna bring out the mk3m collars in the future or is the magnet in there to aid the signal or something?
  10. Greyfriars Bobby Some of the recent kids films are quite good like Madagascar, megamind etc, one of the perks of having a kid is you get an excuse to watch them all
  11. There was 2 this morning and now there's 3, fingers crossed the fourth one hatches too. I might have a hen goldie coming on monday too
  12. I checked an hour after my last post and there was a chick there so fingers crossed they all hatch ok.
  13. I know mate, I keep checking them but no sign yet. They seemed ok when I candled them.
  14. I hold the lead in my hand with my arm out the side of me and find it easy(ish) to control the dog so he can't turn into the wheels and you can also feel when he's lagging behind or wanting to pull. Its just a shame there isn't a set time when there's no bloody cats about, if I spot them first he will leave them but you always get the kamikaze ones who jump out from behind a gatepost or something.
  15. I just tried to PM you mate but your in box is full.
  16. Where abouts are you? I know of a couple of pairs of bull finches in a shop by me.
  17. I don't keep them anymore mate, I had snakes until my little girl became scared of them but now i'm sticking with the dogs, ferrets, fish and canaries. I also have to sort out my littleuns guinea pigs and cat so couldn't be arsed keeping exotics tbh. Keeping my terrier away from the cat is a full time job
  18. I'm surprised it can jump, looks a bit on the portly side
  19. Cracking pics there as usual Moll, hopefully i'll have some chicks by the weekend
  20. Here's one especially for you arachnophobes I've had a couple of goliaths in the past.
  21. The only snake i've been bitten by was a royal python and he didn't half get me the little shit I was strike feeding him and looked away for a split second and bang, i've had boas and all sorts but managed to never get biten by them.
  22. did it hurt real bad ? and what was the outcome, are they poisonious ? i know if it was me it would be wearing a boot against a wall It didn't really hurt at all but I just froze while it was biting the back of my hand repeatedly with its 3/4 inch fangs, eventually after what seemed 5 minutes but was probably ten seconds I shouted my mum who knocked it off my hand and walked off calmly saying ' I thought the bloody house was on fire!' while I just sat on my bed while my heart beat returned to normal . The bite off a tarantula is only like a bee sting so only dangerous if your allergic
  23. I've had quite a few tarantulas over the years and they don't bother me at all apart from when I got bit by my first one (chile rose)as a kid and when I was trying to box up an adult female cobalt blue to post it to a lad, I was nudging her towards the box with a pair of forceps when she decided to run up them and I couldn't get them off my fingers
  24. I wouldn't mind a copy either if someones got a spare
