Stick a properly raised chicken in with them to teach them how to be normal. They shit in the nest boxes because their sleeping in them so either get them roosting on perches or shut off the nest boxes at night until they start sleeping elsewhere.

Are they common where any of you are? I'm sat in my car at work and just had one 6ft from my open window with the radio on and one dashed across the road on my way in too. This is only a couple of minutes from my house too. The point I'm making is a year or two ago it was rare to see one and before that I saw quite a few ill ones, are they developing an immunity to the pox they get like rabbits with the myxi virus? Fingers crossed their on a comeback and the greys feck off.

Mine live out with pheasants (practically feral) eating whatever they want supplemented with layers pellets, go in the shed to sleep and lay as they please and never get pampered but they still lay in the winter so if you get some and keep them warm and fed well they'll do ok for you.

Proper laying hybrids will, maybe not as often as the warmer months but they will lay all year.

Mine get fed when I go to bed which settles them for the night, if the lurcher gets fed he knows he aint going out. What time do you go out if you feed your dog at 7? Would it not still have a full stomach if it was before like 2am?

The majority of chocolate labs are bred for pets because of their colour and their health and temperaments aren't taken into consideration only the £££££££££. A similar problem exists with pats too.

My mates got an older one same way bred and thats got cracking feet on it too. He's lean but a big powerful animal, some dogs are just naturally lean.

Me too mate......... Have you read his biography?........its pretty good and when you see his daughter now its spooky as she is just like him. Is she a smackhead too then? Some of their music was alright but I found the majority of it pretty crap imo.

I've got a 14 year old disguised as a 4 year old, she's hard work the stroppy little bugger. She knows most tricks in the book to try and get her own way, they don't work but she tries. If you tell her she's gonna get a smacked bum for being naughty she comes and smacks mine . She loves most things like the DS and telly and stuff but she can't wait to be a bit bigger so she come out catching her tea and i'm gonna make sure she enjoys herself and hopefully stays interested. She knows she isn't allowed a boyfriend for about another 26 years so she'll have to get a healthy hobby to pass the time

Myxi does the rounds just as the seasons starting here every year guaranteed. You start looking forward to the season coz theres plenty about then myxi comes and pisses on your chips

Good little vid that mate and great to see you getting the kids out with you. After having read a horror story on one of the forums about someone getting bit by a rabbit on the plums i'd get them to pin them down with the foot or something instead of squatting like that over them coz that might put them off for life -

Mines not too bad, she has a moan sometimes but I try not to take the piss being out all the time so I can spend time with my little girl. My daughters 4 and she's been ferreting and eaten most game, the missus has tried all game but isn't keen but that's fair enough at least she tried it.

I've got a linnet in with 2 canary hens and a goldie in with 2 hens to over winter together, no cock canary or hen finches either so they have no choice. If they don't do the biz that way I can get a canary cock back and try with him in view of the hens.

Can you not get a big turkey farm to order in an extra ton for you? They'll be getting it cheaper than a small holder ever could.
