  1. Cheers for the links lads i'll have a look. Next time the little sod finds a hedgehog i'm gonna kick his arse
  2. He sounded like a proper good dog mate and good on you for giving him a cracking life for 16 years doing what he loved, keep your chin up I know what you mean about ferreting without him too, its still not the same for me without my old border and I even considered jacking the ferreting in.
  3. urghh!!! I need another brew! I just spent the past couple of minutes watching girls in bikinis jumping off cliffs, god I love youtube
  4. I fecking hate heights, when I was plastering we got a couple of gable ends to do and we had to get someone else to just carry the stuff up the second half of the scaff. I'm fine climbing up the outside of a scaffolding but feck walking on planks (trap ands or twisted planks) or getting on and off ladders I work with trees now and we have to prune thousands of them off an extending platform and I can be fine for ages then all of a sudden I shit it for no reason and then i'm holding onto the rail and not reaching out but of course the fine gentlemen I work with don't take the piss or shake t
  5. I thought that had changed now? They sell it in a petshop by me and my mate said asda chemist sells it?
  6. After just having been robbed for £68 for flea and worm treatment off the vets just seeing where the best place is to buy online? Cheers, Gnipper
  7. 2 black pudding fritters, steak and kidney with chips and a buttered barm You been barred from the pub or summat Christian to be making a virtual one?
  8. Never bolted one but have had one to ground with a ferret and I suppose i'm lucky the ferret came away from it and the terrier didn't
  9. There's one in all mk3 boxes even the pre pinpointer ones have it so its either a part that makes them work or they had the magnetic collars in the pipeline from the off.
  10. One benefit would be training it to shit in potholes.
  11. The ferrets are the only thing my terrier isn't intent on killing
  12. I got this one when they were a bit cheaper than they are now and its not like the standard dremel it doesn't whizz its tits off just a steady sanding of the nails http://www.amazon.com/Dremel-761-03-Cordless-Grooming-Rotary/dp/B0000C6DZ2 You don't need to be near a plug either. My lurchers nails don't wear down properly no matter how much road work he gets so its used on him quite often safely back to the quick (which is quite long).
  13. Sounds like he's too far gone if he's already taking their toes off but imo and experience a wilful terrier only learns who's boss one way lurchers and other types of dogs are a bit easier and a more sensitive approach can be used be a terrier hell bent on killing something is a nightmare.
  14. I've had the dremel battery powered one for quite a while now and its brilliant. My old dog used to leg it at the sight of the clippers but would stand and let me do them all with the grinder.
  15. Ive had it happen in a litter of well fed kits, one hob kit with half his head missing and the brains scooped out and his brothers and sisters happily munching on him
  16. I prefer a nice sandy or a light silver but at the moment i've got 3 poleys and 1 sandy but that could change when I can get them out proper and see what their made of.
  17. Stick a properly raised chicken in with them to teach them how to be normal. They shit in the nest boxes because their sleeping in them so either get them roosting on perches or shut off the nest boxes at night until they start sleeping elsewhere.
  18. Are they common where any of you are? I'm sat in my car at work and just had one 6ft from my open window with the radio on and one dashed across the road on my way in too. This is only a couple of minutes from my house too. The point I'm making is a year or two ago it was rare to see one and before that I saw quite a few ill ones, are they developing an immunity to the pox they get like rabbits with the myxi virus? Fingers crossed their on a comeback and the greys feck off.
  19. None its fecking brill, don't have to worry about bumping into them or being accused of being out after them
  20. Mine live out with pheasants (practically feral) eating whatever they want supplemented with layers pellets, go in the shed to sleep and lay as they please and never get pampered but they still lay in the winter so if you get some and keep them warm and fed well they'll do ok for you.
  21. Proper laying hybrids will, maybe not as often as the warmer months but they will lay all year.
  22. Mine get fed when I go to bed which settles them for the night, if the lurcher gets fed he knows he aint going out. What time do you go out if you feed your dog at 7? Would it not still have a full stomach if it was before like 2am?
  23. Sounds like your describing the wanker of a whippet I had.
  24. I thought Freddy Mercury died in the 90's? He damaged thousands of blokes in the ring, one 'fight' in particular ended his career though
  25. I wish the one my terrier found under a pylon the other day had bloody climbed
