    A few peppers I've grown in pots on the patio. I've got some sweet banana chillis and some scotch bonnets growing too. Corn and tomatoes growing in containers too but I'm getting hammered by slugs this year.

    It's been fecked round here since this lurcher was a sapling and he's 4 now. Like IWW says it's the dog I feel sorry for with nothing to do, I've been shooting pigeons etc the last couple of seasons just so he's got something to do. Do they ever recover from it?

    My mate forges his knives, swords and axes that he makes and the damascus stuff is really nice too. Check out ppotty1 on youtube.

    I've not had one like that but I have had a deaf one that was difficult to wake. It also struggled to get on with it's cage mates too and I think it was because they startled her.

    Thats true I had a hand full of builders that wouldn't go near the gate the other day until the wife said it was ok. He has a dam deep menacing bark and the looks to match. Not an attribute I wanted but the house and family are safe with him in it That's one of the main reasons why this twat of mine is still here.

    One thing I'd take into consideration first is have you got enough work for it? The way rabbit numbers are locally I wouldn't take on a lurcher and the highly strung pain in the arse I've already got is getting worse with lack of work. Can't even give the mad b*****d away either.

    I'm surprised any have been pinched if they're bred off proper shepherds you'd think they'd be unpinchable?

    They sound ideal for the lad. If I was after a dog I'd be looking at these.

    I had a quick scan through there a couple of weeks ago after not going on for a couple of years and I'm fairly sure I seen a certain drain defecator posting on there.

    what like? I'm thinking about buying something random like a wallaby Snakes, arachnids, lizards and mantids etc rather than exotic mammals. Some of the mammals like wallabies and raccoons and stuff are really cheap nowadays. Won't be long until they are feral all over the place.

    Put a Niger seed feeder up and you should get goldies coming. I see more goldies than anything round here.

    Could she not cope on the big open fields local Gnipper? No mate she was about the same speed as a rabbit so just ran along behind them and then piled into whatever they ran into or stayed digging them out.

    The whippet I had would go through anything after stuff just a shame it was crap at catching stuff on the run.
