    I’ve got a couple of old leather ones and a neoprene camo one, I don’t know why, but I haven’t used any of them for ages. I have a small cartridge bag and tend to use that if anything. They do spread the weight better than a bag though, but I reckon I’ll have more cartridges in the bag anyway, it can tug on my shoulder a bit after a while.

    Not true, BASC legal team will tell you that. They can and should advise you to get it sorted, but they can’t withhold your property. They are not the law. You can sue them for doing so.

    Top marks billy. Rapids are still one of my favourite air guns. Also the wtc Simmons, a great scope as well, got a 3.5-10x50 on one of my rimfires and it never shifts zero?.

    As you know Mark, I think the sports a great rifles, even today. I’m sure it will be a delight to use?. As for the hw35’s, I’d think they would be nice to shoot at a tuned 11.5 ish especially in .22 as in standard tune a new spring alone took a friends to 14ft lb, so tuning and running them sub 12 should be a super smooth understressed action.

    It will be interesting to see if it turns out to be worthwhile investing money in old scrap airguns Mark. Hope it doesn’t fall apart under the stress???
