  1. The fac rapid will ricochet, no doubt about that, they really will ricochet. As you say though, not as dangerously as a rimfire bullet.?
  2. I’d 100% agree with that. Also, 28ft lbs is the sweet spot for .22 rapid regarding shots/charge.
  3. It would hardly be intrusive at 70 yards away indoors with subsonic carts. Could be heard, but much quieter than an unmoderated twelve. They get quieter with use as the mod cokes up a bit. A plus point with the twenty over the fourten if you go for the Mossberg, is that the twenty is drilled and tapped to accept a weaver rail and the fourten isn’t.
  4. Twenty’s are generally cheaper than fourten. I’d recommend eley hi-flyer for the twenty hushpower. Fibre wad, not plastic, as only the fibre are subsonic. I bought a thousand for just a bit over £200 a while back, still got nearly two slabs left. If you need to be really quiet you won’t beat eley fourlongs in a fourten hushpower, but as I said before, they have limited range. If you’re shooting rabbits with a hushpower fourten you’ll need the three inch magnums and they’ll cost about twenty quid more a thousand than the twenty gauge hi-flyers. They might have gone up a bit since I bought any t
  5. Twenty is a bit louder, but not a lot depending on cartridges. If you want to be as quiet as possible, your probably better off with the fourten. You can however, achieve fourten 3” performance and noise with a twenty hushpower by using Hull subsonic 20. They’re 23 gram and perform similarly to a magnum fourten load, probably a bit better. It just depends on your needs really, but the twenty will definitely offer superior performance overall, as you’d expect.
  6. Very quiet with eley fourlongs, but if you want any range out of them, you’ll need to be using the 3 inch carts. Depends what you need, but 20 gauge hushpower has better range and much harder hitting. I’ve got both, and find the fourten lacking compared to the twenty. Both have their uses though, but for me, the twenty is more useful than the fourten in most situations.
  7. Eley hi-flyer fibre wad are subsonic in 20 gauge. I use them in my Mossberg pump hushpower 20, with Tasco pro-point red dot, great tool it is too.?
  8. I’m on s&b’s atm, not bad, but not the best for me. Got about 25 left then I’m off to get some more rws I reckon.
  9. Good luck with the op Nathan, get well soon fella ?
  10. Another ? for 100 yards. I haven’t noticed much difference in accuracy with different rounds but if anything, the 20 grain CCI’s possibly have the edge. All minute of mouse, no problem.?
  11. Close enough, but my names not phill.?
  12. Good shooting bn. Looks like a rook in there as well?
  13. If I could only have one gun, it would be a .22?
  14. I think fac air is usually open from the start, as are section one shotguns(apart from slugs), whereas powder burner rifles won’t be until you’ve got a few years experience with them.
