    Which model of Discovery scope do you have VM? I’ve been looking at a hawke vantage 4-16 sf, and also the airmax’s but these Discovery scopes look like a good alternative if they compare favourably.

    Well, I do have the dosh, but it’s just that I’m trying to convince myself that I don’t need one, as it’s a fair wedge to donate to yet another air gun. Don’t know if it will work though, after handling one I’m finding it difficult to resist ? oh dear........... if I already had a spare slot on my ticket, I’d have probably ordered one already ? and it’s all your fault vm?

    Yes, they’re a very nice air rifle indeed. Much lighter than they look and a lovely quality of finish. The shop only had them inlaminate, but said he can order walnut or synthetic if I want one. Just need another slot for fac air.....and some dosh to donate to the cause.........?. There lies the rub?.

    What do you recommend to clean an air rifle barrel? I only clean powder burners.

    The difference with a hushpower is that you need to cover you’re target, otherwise you find that you shoot low. Hence, easier with a red dot sight. Just point and see the red dot, not the moderator. Each to their own though.

    I think you are Deker. The red dot overcomes the aiming difficulty caused by the moderator on a hushpower pump gun. I find it much easier to get on target and hit my target with the hushpower fitted with a red dot, than without one.

    Well the 20 and the 12 are, so why not the .410?

    I would, but the receiver isn’t drilled and tapped on the .410 for some reason.
