  1. My bitch tore her thigh a few year back and this was the effect she was sore for a fair while....done it in the January ,rested rest of season ,1st time out next season she dislocated her toe.
  2. Was it a 150 with a battery and lead and a rechargeable 150 dai? How long until your delivery mate I'll have one as a spare
  3. maybe they just too laid back now ?and adding a different breed or lurcher to the mix stokes the fire ,so to speak. never been around straight deerhound crosses only ones with something else in there.
  4. Yes you can get diseases in clean yards, just as you can walking them where unjabbed dogs have been ,but the point is, If everyone jabbed up ,eventually the diseases may well die out. It can be spread on your shoes, by animals walking across your yard, Small price to pay for 1/2 second round a track
  5. Looks in good shape to me ,and well looked after and if it pleases the owner It's all good. I hope he does what he was bred for
  6. Looks hell of a lot taller ,photos can be deceiving
  7. Thats a bad Craic if it right! But I don't suppose the lad knew so between you and your Dad
  8. looks a nice type pal, looks big dog too what sizes it?
  9. it's red whilst charging then green once charged.Probably a bit late but don't use the lithium battery charger as that's for 12v,the lamp is only 3.7v so you have probably fried it
  10. They have have loads of different blood From greyhound rottweiler Airedale ,pinscher and schnauzer.(or so they say) But any of that blood has long since need absorbed and unlikely to show. There is some nice working stuff still out there abroad but don't think I'd go to the trouble of getting it and paying £1000s just to cross with a greyhound, there's be a lot of other breeds in front of the queue.
  11. There litter I bred that are having a decent first season, Be next season that they will show what they have though
  12. Yea the k50 tomo I still have mine and like it great if you are just mooching about but the beam is real wide. So not for everyone. The main thing I've been trying to do in having a k50 and one of these is get away from having a separate battery and cable and both sort that, but the 150 is a better all round lamp for rabbits etc
  13. I think feral or feral hybrids tend to get bigger than true wild boar,as obviously domestic pigs are bred for size,
  14. And as I said a member has been in the process of buying a batch and will be for sale to members shortly ,at a decent saving to what you can get else where. I'll certainly be buying one or 2
  15. I've been out with both and held them side by side ,I'd say you see more with the 150 Caught decent bags with it too,on a decent nights lamping seen a 50+ caught with one too.
  16. If you've already picked a pup ,then you have to wait and see what you have
  17. I'd just get a pup off parents that can catch them easy, then the pup should manage what you want in its sleep,
  18. I think the first photo you need to show the whole page as that's taking out of context slightly
  19. maybe my eye lol I don't know but I've always said the 170's etc at slightly yellow these a purer white. In the eye of the beholder etc etc I've seen some bulbs that throw a bluish light even on halogen,it's all down to the K -rating and I'm sure these less are closer to the white range
  20. The only way I'd breed a 1st cross is if I had access to the best bull blood available,be interested in seeing the results..also be interested in seeing what the same bull blood would go like to good coursing blood.
  21. I wouldn't say the lights bluish ray just whiter than the halogens with their yellow is tint.
  22. Keep us posted on it mush.plenty of pictures, just make sure you get a huge zoom lens
  23. There's a member on here that will soon have a batch of the 150 with both battery and corded type delivered very soon . So my advice is if you can hold out a week or 2,there will be a decent saving to be had. For your information ,the one with the battery in the handle runs off 3.7 v I think ,and the battery is a 18650 that you get in a lot of led torches. So if the battery packs in after a season or 2 a few quid will put it right.
